Sumner, Washington
Sumner is a city in northern Pierce County, Washington, United States. The population was 9,451 at the 2010 census. Nearby cities include Puyallup to the west, Auburn to the north, and Enumclaw to the east.
Stuck River (Washington)
The Stuck River in Washington state is a former small stream turned distributary and later final course of the White River, near Auburn to the Puyallup River at Sumner. The river's name comes from the Lushootseed word /stéq/, "log jam", or /stəx̣/, "gouged through", or "plowed through". Throughout the late 19th century, farmers in the valley attempted various flood control efforts that eventually allowed the White River to partially flow into the Stuck River in 1899.
Cascade Christian Schools
Cascade Christian Schools (CCS) are a small group of private schools in Pierce County, Washington. They comprise three elementary school campuses several early childhood centers, and a junior/senior high school, providing education for roughly 1500 students. Pierce County Foothills Trail
The Foothills Trail is a mostly paved non-motorized rail-trail in east Pierce County, Washington, extending uninterrupted for 24 km from Puyallup, Washington to Orting, Washington to South Prairie, Washington. The trail is used by cyclists, walkers, joggers, inline skaters, and horse riders. Other portions of the trail in Buckley, Washington, Wilkeson, Washington and along River Road in Puyallup are not currently connected but will be if current plans are achieved.
McMillin Bridge
The McMillin Bridge (also known as the Puyallup River Bridge) is a concrete half-through truss bridge crossing the Puyallup River, in Pierce County, Washington, built in 1934. The bridge is signed as part of State Route 162. The main span of the bridge is 170 feet long, which was the longest beam span or concrete truss in the US when it was built. The bridge design uses a hollow-box system, which was suggested to the design company of W. H. Witt Company by Homer M. Hadley.

The Sumner Station is a Sounder commuter rail station serving the city of Sumner, Washington. It was built by Sound Transit along BNSF Railway tracks in Downtown Sumner, being completed in 2000. The station is also served by ST Express and Pierce Transit buses.
