Burke-Gilman Trail

The Burke-Gilman Sammamish Trail is a rail trail in King County, Washington. The 27-mile multi-use recreational trail is part of the King County Regional Trail System and occupies an abandoned Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railway corridor. The Burke-Gilman segment is managed by the City of Seattle south of NE 145th Street. The trail begins at 11th Avenue NW in Ballard and follows along the Lake Washington Ship Canal and north along Lake Washington.

Wedgwood Rock is a glacial erratic (and known to geologists as the "Wedgwood Erratic") near the neighborhood of Wedgwood in Seattle, Washington. (Technically, the rock is outside the boundary of Wedgwood, in the Bryant/Ravenna neighborhoods. ) Its mineral composition matches that of Mount Erie, on Fidalgo Island in Skagit County, Washington. St. Edward Seminary

Saint Edward Seminary (sometimes "Saint Edward's Seminary") was an institution for developing Catholic priests in the US state of Washington. Dedicated to Saint Edward the Confessor and located in the city of Kenmore, it operated for 46 years before closing in 1976. The seminary and most of its grounds now constitute Saint Edward State Park. The seminary was located on a 366 acres property purchased in the late 1920s. Building plans were scaled back in 1929 due to the Great Depression.

Victory Heights is a neighborhood in the Lake City district of Seattle, Washington. It was named after the Victory Highway, which formed the eastern border of the area. The highway was originally called the Gerhart Erickson Road, the namesake of which was Gerhart Erickson, who sponsored the Good Roads legislation in 1903. The road was then renamed Bothell Road, changed to Victory Highway in 1924, before returning to Bothell Road; it is now called Lake City Way NE.
