KOMO (AM)
KOMO is a radio station based in Seattle, Washington. Its format is primarily news. From 2003 to 2008, it was also the flagship station of the Seattle Mariners Radio Network. A 50,000 watt clear-channel station, KOMO can be heard across much of the Western United States and as far north as Fort McMurray, Alberta at night.
Blake Island
Blake Island is an island in Kitsap County in Washington state in the United States. It lies in the middle of Puget Sound, north of Vashon Island, south of Bainbridge Island and east of Manchester. Blake Island is a 475 acres marine camping park with five miles of saltwater beach shoreline providing unobstructed views of the Olympic Mountains and the Seattle skyline. There is a small marina and limited mooring buoys. The park is only reachable by tour boat or private boat.

Sylvan Beach, is a community located in King County, Washington, on the west side of Vashon Island on Colvos Passage. It is known as one of Vashon's walk-in communities, since most of the homes can only be reached by walking in from the road on the community's boardwalk. Supplies and goods are conveyed to the homes using wheelbarrows.
Point Southworth
Point Southworth lies on Kitsap Peninsula on the western side of the northern entrance to Colvos Passage in Puget Sound. The point is high and wooded. A Washington State Ferries dock is about 0.2 miles northwest of Point Southworth, in the community of Southworth, Washington. Point Southworth was named by Charles Wilkes, during the Wilkes Expedition of 1838-1842, in honor of Edward Southworth, one of the expedition's quartermasters.

The airport is unique in being one of the few public airports in Washington State with only a grass runway. Other state owned public grass only runways exist in Washington, but not with hangars.
