Liberty Jail

Liberty Jail is a former jail in Liberty, Missouri, USA where Joseph Smith, Jr. , founder of Latter Day Saint movement, and other associates were imprisoned from December 1, 1838 to April 6, 1839 during the 1838 Mormon War. Boomerang is a shuttle roller coaster at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri. It opened in the 2000 season, replacing the vacancy left by the Zambezi Zinger's departure in 1997, and used Zambezi's line queue. Since 2005, the line queue and signage has moved. Boomerang is a "cookie-cutter" or "clone" ride, meaning it is not unique to Worlds of Fun and is manufactured by Vekoma for many other parks.

Liberty Arsenal

The Liberty Arsenal was an United States Army arsenal at Liberty, Missouri in Clay County, Missouri, that was seized by Confederate sympathizers on April 20, 1861, being an early occurrence in a sequence of skirmishes and battles that was to define Missouri in the American Civil War. It has sometimes been called the "Missouri Fort Sumter. " It was located generally west of the junction of Missouri Route 291 and old 210 Highway.

Winnetonka High School

Winnetonka High School is a high school in the North Kansas City School District. The school is located at 5815 NE 48 Street in Kansas City North, Missouri. Winnetonka opened in 1971.
