Chassell Township, Michigan

Chassell Township is a civil township of Houghton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,822 at the 2000 census. The township was organized on April 14, 1888, and named John Chassell, a prominent businessman and farmer whose farmland became the site of the community of Chassel.
