Pulga, California
Pulga (Spanish for "Flea") is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It is located along the west slope of the Feather River canyon, at an elevation of 1398 feet (426 m). A variant name for the community is Big Bar. Other nearby communities include Mayaro, Poe and Parkhill. The town hosts a Caltrans highway maintenance station along State Route 70 (SR70). The place is at the mouth of the Flea Valley Creek, which gives rise to the toponym.

Flea Valley (also, Flea Valley House) is a former settlement and mining camp in Butte County, California. It was located northeast of Magalia, at an elevation of 3684 feet (1123 m). Flea Valley still appeared on USGS maps as of 1897.
Pulga Bridges
The Pulga Bridges are two nearby bridges for highway and railroad crossings of the North Fork Feather River. The highway bridge crosses right over the railroad bridge. The railroad Pulga Bridge is located on the Union Pacific Railroad's Feather River Route through the Sierra Nevada Mountains in north eastern California, connecting the Sacramento Valley to Salt Lake City via the Feather River valley.
