Taiwan Province, People's Republic of China
"Taiwan Province" is, according to the law of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the correct designation for the territory that was first proclaimed to be “Taiwan Province” in 1886. Under PRC law, Taiwan Province still includes the entire island of Taiwan and its surrounding islets, including the Penghu islands.
