Lake Sfânta Ana
Lake Sfânta Ana (Hungarian: Szent Anna-tó, meaning "Saint Anne Lake" in both languages) is the only crater lake in Romania located in the volcanic crater named "Puciosul" (Büdös-hegy or Stinky Mountain) of the Eastern Carpathians, near Tuşnad in the Natural Reserve of Mohoș, Harghita County, Romania. Palynology studies concluded that the history of Lake Saint Anne began about 9,800-8,800 years ago, at the stage of peat bog and shallow lake. It has an oval form and an area of 220,000 m².
Băile Tușnad
Băile Tușnad is a town in Harghita County, Romania. It lies in the Székely Land, an ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania. With a population of 1,617, it is the smallest town in Romania by population. It is located at an altitude of 650 metres in the southern reaches of the Ciuc depression, between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains, in the valley of the Olt, and is to this day an important spa town. The town administers one village, Carpitus (Kárpitus).

Harghita Mountains
The Harghita Mountains is a volcanic mountain range of the Căliman-Harghita Mountains in Harghita County of Romania, part of the Inner Eastern Carpathians. The range is about 80 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide, and is the “largest andesite mass” and the “largest volcanic body in the whole of Europe”. Its tallest peak is Hargita (Madarasi Hargita, 1801 metres).
Castra of Olteni
The castra of Olteni was a fort in the Roman province of Dacia. It was built in the 2nd century AD. The archaeological site yielded coins issued by the Roman emperors Titus Flavius Vespasianus, Domitian, Trajan, Antoninus Pius, Elagabal and Alexander Severus. The fort was abandoned in the 3rd century. It ruins are located in Olteni in commune Bodoc in Romania.
Baraolt Mountains
The Baraolt Mountains (in Romanian, Munţii Baraolt) is a mountain range, entirely in Covasna County of Romania. Geologically the Baraolts are part of the Căliman-Harghita Mountains, of the Inner Eastern Carpathians. By traditional Romanian categorization it's included in the Curvature Carpathians. The largest city in the area is Sfântu Gheorghe, along with the towns of Baraolt and Malnaș. The highest peak is Vârful Havad at 1019 meters. The Baraolt Mountains is a popular hiking area.
