Tyholttårnet
Tyholttårnet is a 124 metre high radio tower with an observation deck at Trondheim, Norway. Tyholttårnet was built in 1985. The tower features a revolving restaurant, 80 metres up, which makes one complete revolution per hour.
Kristiansten Fortress
Kristiansten Fortress (Norwegian: Kristiansten Festning, historically spelled Christiansten) is located on a hill east of the city of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It was built after the city fire of Trondheim in 1681 to protect the city against attack from the east. Construction was finished in 1685. It fulfilled its purpose in 1718 when Swedish forces laid siege against Trondheim. The fortress was decommissioned in 1816 by king Charles XIV John.

Tyholt
Tyholt is a neighborhood located on the highest point in the city of Trondheim, Norway. It borders the neighborhoods Singsaker to the west, Strindheim to the north, Moholt to the south and Valentinlyst to the east. The area has a good view of Trondheim on the one side and to Lade and Strinda. Before 1964 Tyholt was part of Strinda. The Tyholt tower is a 124 m tall communications tower, with a revolving restaurant.
Tyholt Tunnel
Tyholttunnelen (Tyholt Tunnel) is a 2.7-kilometre long, single track railway tunnel in Trondheim, Norway on Stavnebanen. The tunnel was built by the German forces during World War II as a means to bypass Trondheim in case of a sabotage of the main line. This was a major concern since Trondheim Central Station was built on an artificial island and there are bridges both to the east and west of the station. The tunnel is not electrified and is currently not used for passenger service.
Nedre Elvehavn
Nedre Elvehavn is a borough of Trondheim, Norway located east of Nidelven opposite Midtbyen (but generally considered as a part of the city center). The borough is located north of Bakklandet, west of Møllenberg and south of Nyhavna. In the late 1990s the borough went through a major renovation, resulting in a new and expensive area close to the city centre with business, shopping, restaurants, pubs and housing.
Moholt
Moholt is an area of Trondheim, Norway south of Tyholt and north of Loholt. The area is dominated by housing, including a lot of student housing. There are also some supermarkets and commercial enterprises in the area, primarily because of the proximity to European route E6. Also located at Moholt is Trondheim Business School, a faculty of Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Trondheim Business School (Norwegian: Handelshøyskolen i Trondheim) or HHiT is a faculty of Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST) in Trondheim, Norway that provides economics and business management education. The school was founded in 1967 as an independent university college, but in 1994 it and seven other university colleges in Trondheim merged to form HiST. From the merger until 2003 the school was called Sør-Trøndelag University College, Faculty of Economics and Administration.
Rosenborg, Trondheim
Rosenborg is an area of Trondheim, Norway, located east of Møllenberg, south of Lademoen, north of Tyholt, and west of Persaunet. Organisationally it is part of the Østbyen borough. The area is mostly residential, both houses and apartments. The eastern part of Rosenborg also borders to Kristiansten Fortress and the surrounding park. There is also a large amateur football arena that among others hosts the women's team Trondheims-Ørn.
Lerkendal Station
Lerkendal is a railway station located at Lerkendal in Trondheim, Norway. The station is the southern terminus of the Trøndelag Commuter Rail, the commuter rail between Steinkjer and Trondheim. The station is the only one located on the Stavne–Leangen Line and was constructed in 1988 when the Stavne–Leangen Line was opened for passenger traffic and is served by one train each hour. The station is located at Campus Gløshaugen of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and SINTEF.
Lilleby Station
Lilleby is a railway station on Nordland Line located in Trondheim, Norway serving the area of Lademoen. The station is serviced by the Trøndelag Commuter Rail operated by Norwegian State Railways (NSB). In 2006 the station changed its name from Lademoen so the Lademoen name could be used for the new station Lademoen located at Nedre Elvehavn. Lilleby was opened in 1967 and is 1.77 km from Trondheim Central Station. Lademoen is primarily a residential area.

Lademoen or Lademoen/Nedre Elvehavn is a railway station on the Nordland Line at Nedre Elvehavn in Trondheim, Norway. The station was opened on 7 January 2007 and is served by the local trains Trøndelag Commuter Rail by Norwegian State Railways (NSB). It is located 0.94 km from Trondheim Central Station and at 6 meters above sea level. The station serves the areas of Nedre Elvehavn and Nyhavna.
Lademoen
Lademoen is a residential area in Trondheim, Norway about two kilometers east of the city centre located just east of Nedre Elvehavn, west of Leangen, south of Nyhavna and north of Rosenborg. The area is served by the local train Trønderbanen at Lilleby Station. All buses east of town stop at Lademoen. Between 1893 and 1988 the Trondheim Tramway had a tram route from the city centre to Lademoen, which was expanded to Lade in 1958.

Lerkendal is an area and borough in Trondheim, Norway. The area is located south of Gløshaugen and Elgeseter, west of Berg, north of Tempe and east of the river Nidelva. The area is dominated by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, SINTEF and the home stadium of Rosenborg, Lerkendal Stadion. The area also has a railway line, Stavne–Leangen Line, running through it with one station, Lerkendal Station, that is served by the local train service Trøndelag Commuter Rail.

Norwegian Air Force Academy
The Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy (RNoAFA) is the Norwegian Air Force’s college which conducts officer training for the RNoAF and the Norwegian Armed Forces. The school was established in 1949 and is one of the Armed Forces´ three military academies. The two others are the Army Academy and the Naval Academy. The students at the Armed Forces´ Academies are referred to as cadets and have full salary during education.
