Trøndelag
Trøndelag is a geographical region in the central part of Norway, consisting of the two counties Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag. (The districts of Nordmøre and Romsdal, and the municipality of Bindal, originally also were parts of Trøndelag - and the inhabitants there still speak dialects similar to Trøndersk. ) The region is, together with Møre og Romsdal, part of a larger administrative division called Central Norway. A person from Trøndelag is called a Trønder.
Student Society in Trondheim
The Student Society in Trondheim (Norwegian: Studentersamfundet i Trondhjem, Samfundet for short) is Norway's largest student society. Besides housing two cafés and frequently hosting concerts and other activities (among them Norway's biggest culture festival, UKA), it is an independent organization for all students and teachers in Trondheim, owned fully by its members. Elgeseter Bridge
Elgeseter Bridge is a bridge in the city and municipality of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the European route E6 highway which passes over the Nidelva river and connects Prinsens street in the Midtbyen area of Trondheim with Elgeseter street in the Elgeseter area of Trondheim in the south. The Trondheim city council decided on 17 March 1949 that the bridge should be built. Elgeseter bridge was opened in 1951 after a construction period of 2 years.

Dronningens gate is a tram stop on the Trondheim Tramway, Norway, that was constructed in 1948 when a loop was built in city center for the trams on the Gråkall Line. After the Archangelsk Tramway was closed in 2004 the stop became the most northerly tram stop in the world. The station is only served by outbound trams, and is within short walking distance of the two closest stops. It serves primarily residential areas.

Munkegata Terminal is the main bus station in Trondheim, Norway. All buses to and from Trondheim, with the sole exception of the Airport Express Bus and TrønderBilene stops at the terminal, that is located on the streets of Munkegata and Dronningens gate on Trondheim Torg in Midtbyen. The terminal also houses the corporate offices of Team Trafikk, the city bus company in Trondheim.
Elgeseter
Elgeseter is a location in Trondheim, Norway located south and east of the river Nidelven, south of Midtbyen, east of Nidarø, west of Singsaker and north of Lerkendal. The name comes from Helgeseter, the name of Helgeseter Priory, an Augustinian abbey located at Elgeseter during the Middle Ages. Elgeseter is the centre of technology in Trondheim, housing both St. Olavs Hospital, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and parts of Sør-Trøndelag University College.
Helgeseter Priory
Helgeseter Priory or Elgeseter Priory was a house of Augustinian Canons in what is now Elgeseter in Trondheim, Norway, across the river Nidelven from Nidaros Cathedral. The priory was connected to the cathedral by Elgeseter Bridge, making it possible for the canons to perform their duty in the cathedral choir. The monastery was founded by Archbishop Eystein no later than 1183, and rapidly assumed political importance. In May 1240 Duke Skule was killed outside this monastery.
Kalvskinnet
Kalvskinnet is an area of Trondheim, Norway, southwest in city centre, Midtbyen bordering the river Nidelva in the south. In Sverris saga the place is called akeren. The area is dominated by public offices, including such institutions as the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Sør-Trøndelag University College and Trondheim Science Museum. There are also some extremely lucrative houses in the area.

Sør-Trøndelag University College or HiST is a Norwegian university college located in Trondheim. The school offers higher education within nursing, teaching, economics, food science, engineering and information technology. The college has six campuses throughout the city and was created in 1994 as a merger between a number of independent colleges in the city.
Skansen Bridge
Skansen Bridge is a 52 meter span bascule railway bridge located at Skansen in Trondheim, Norway beside Skansen Station. The bridge was opened on March 22, 1918 allowing trains on Dovrebanen access to Trondheim Central Station while also being able to open to allow ships on the Trondheim Canal access to the Trondheimsfjord.
Marienborg Station
Marienborg is a railway station located at Marienborg in Trondheim, Norway. The station is located on the Dovre Line at the point where the Stavne–Leangen Line branches off from the Dovre Line. The station has two platforms, one on each of the railway lines, the one track electrified and the other not. Service to the station is provided though the commuter train service Trønderbanen operated by Norges Statsbaner and regional trains to Røros. It was opened in 1999.
Midtbyen, Trondheim
Midtbyen is a borough and comprises much of the city centre of Trondheim, Norway. Midtbyen proper is located north and east of the river Nidelva, south of the Trondheim Canal and east of Ila, thus being north of Øya and Elgeseter, east of Bakklandet and south of Brattøra. The Midtbyen borough also comprises the areas of Ila, Byåsen, Trolla and Stavne. The area is primarily a commercial area with office buildings and stores, though there is also some dense housing.

Museum of Natural History and Archaeology is a department of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway with collections and displays related to natural history and cultural history. The archaeological displays show findings from the stone, bronze, iron and viking ages. In addition the museum has a separate display about the development of Trondheim as a city in the middle ages, a display on Sami culture and a display about church art and church inventory until ca.
St Olav's University Hospital
St. Olav’s University Hospital (Norwegian: St. Olavs Hospital Universitetssykehuset i Trondheim) is the hospital in Trondheim, Norway located at Øya. It is part of St. Olavs Hospital Trust that operates all the hospitals in Sør-Trøndelag and thus indirectly state owned. It cooperates closely with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in research and in education of medical doctors. The university is named for Olaf II of Norway, also known as St. Olav.

Cissi Klein
Cissi Pera Klein (19 April 1929 in Narvik - 3 March 1943 in Auschwitz) was a Norwegian Jewish girl who is commemorated every year as one of the victims of the Holocaust in her home town in Trondheim. Her parents had emigrated to Norway from the Baltic states around 1905, at first living in North Norway, but then establishing a retail store in Trondheim.

Stavne
Stavne is a neighborhood in Trondheim, Norway. It is located on the west shore of the river Nidelva, east of Byåsen. It lays across the river from Elgeseter. The area was previously served by Stavne Station on the Dovre Line. It is also the terminus Stavne–Leangen Line.

Ilen Church
Ilen Church (Norwegian: Ilen kirke, also called Ila Church) is a parish church in the municipality of Trondheim in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Ila area in the city of Trondheim, on the 250-metre wide isthmus between the river Nidelva and the Trondheimsfjord. The stone church was built in 1889 by the architect Eugene Sissenére, and it was consecrated on 7 June 1889. It does not have its own graveyard on the church site.
