Osaka University of Arts is a private arts university located in Kanan, Minamikawachi District, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The university was founded in 1945 as Hirano English Cram School, changing its name to Osaka School of the Fine Arts in 1957, and then to Naniwa University of the Arts in 1964. The university adopted the current name in 1966.
Kintetsu Katsuragi Ropeway Line
The Katsuragisan Ropeway, officially the Katsuragi Ropeway Line, is Japanese aerial lift line in Gose, Nara, operated by Kintetsu. This is the only aerial lift line in Japan that is directly operated by major private railway companies. Opened in 1967, the line climbs Mount Katsuragi . The line does not accept PiTaPa or Surutto Kansai.
Taima-dera
Taima-dera (當麻寺) is a Buddhist temple in Nara, Japan built originally in 612 by the Imperial Prince Maroko, the brother of Prince Shotoku. The temple was moved to its present location in 681 by the grandson of Prince Maroko, and serves as the head temple, or honzan (本山) of the now-defunct Hosso sect. The temple's main object of veneration is the Yakushi, but the most popular attraction is the Taima Mandala, a graphical representation of the Pure Land, and pilgrimage site for Pure Land Buddhists.

Osaka Prefectural Chikatsu Asuka Museum is a prefectural museum in Kanan, Ōsaka Prefecture, Japan dedicated to the area of Chikatsu Asuka during the Kofun and Asuka periods. The region is first documented in the Kojiki. The Chikatsu Asuka Fudoki-No-Oka Historical Park contains over two hundred burial mounds including four imperial tombs and those of Shōtoku Taishi and Ono no Imoko.
