Odense University
Odense University, now Syddansk Universitet Odense (or SDU Odense in abbreviated form), has been part of the University of Southern Denmark since 1998 of which it forms the biggest campus. It is the university of Odense, Denmark's third largest city, and the island of Funen. When abbreviated, the university motto becomes FIONIA, the Latin name for Funen. The motto was created by the university's first rector, Mogens Brøndsted in 1966.
University of Southern Denmark
The University of Southern Denmark, with campuses located in the southwestern part of Denmark - i.e. Funen, Southern Jutland and Sealand - is a research and educational institution with deep regional roots and an international outlook. Funen County

Årslev municipality is a former municipality in the island of Funen in central Denmark. It merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality on 1 January 2007. The former municipality covered an area of 74 km², and had a total population of 9,365 (2005). It belonged to Funen County and its last mayor was Hans Jørgensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Årslev.
Trundholm Municipality
Trundholm municipality was a municipality in West Zealand County on the northwest coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark, in a region known as Odsherred. The municipality covered an area of 163 km², and had a total population of 11,309 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans Møller Olsen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Højby.

Arena Fyn is a sports and concert arena in the southeastern part of the Danish city of Odense. It has an area of 8,500 square metres and can accommodate 4,000 spectators at sporting events and 5,500 at concerts, where the floor is used.

Tietgenbyen is a 270-hectare commercial area in Denmark. It is situated southeast of Odense near European route E20. The area is named after C.F. Tietgen, who was born in Odense.
