Dartmouth Sportsplex
The Dartmouth Sportsplex is an arena located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. It has been home to various junior, senior and minor and high school hockey teams. It co-hosted the 2004 World Women's Hockey Championships with the nearby Halifax Metro Centre. It also hosts occasional trade shows and concerts. The arena is currently home to the Metro Marauders Junior A hockey team. The arena's capacity is 3,000 for hockey. and 3,500 for stage events.

Mic Mac Mall
Mic Mac Mall is a Canadian shopping mall located in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality, in the city of Dartmouth. It is owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. Built following construction of the Highway 111, the mall is located in a suburban area south of Lake Micmac and northwest of the Micmac Parclo interchange. It hosts a Metro Transit bus terminal.
Lake Micmac
Lake Micmac is a small freshwater lake located in the Halifax Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada. Located entirely within the community of Dartmouth, Lake Micmac is also known as 'Second Lake' for its position in the Shubenacadie Canal system. The lake is bordered on three sides by roads: Waverly Road on its eastern shore, Highway 118 on its western shore, and Highway 111 on its southern shore; the bridge carrying this latter road also separates Lake Micmac from Lake Banook.
Shubenacadie Canal
The Shubenacadie Canal is a Canadian canal in central Nova Scotia, linking Halifax Harbour with the Bay of Fundy by way of the Shubenacadie River and Shubenacadie Grand Lake. Begun in 1826, it was not completed until 1861 and was closed in 1871. Currently small craft use the river and lakes, but only one lock is operational. Three of the nine locks have been restored to preserve their unique fusion of British and North American construction techniques. More extensive restoration is planned.
Sullivan's Pond
Sullivan's Pond is a small artificial lake located in the community of Dartmouth in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality. The pond is located a half kilometre northeast of Halifax Harbour at Dartmouth Cove as part of the Shubenacadie Canal system. It is the first water body in the canal system when heading from the harbour to the Bay of Fundy and was constructed as a holding pond for southbound vessels wishing to transit the remaining distance to the harbour.
Nova Scotia Highway 118
Highway 118, in Nova Scotia, is a short suburban freeway connecting (officially) Victoria Road via Woodland Ave. in Dartmouth with Highway 102 at Fall River, 14 kilometres to the north. The highway crosses the Historic Shubenacadie Canal. Running parallel to the highway from the Waverley Road to exit 14 is a portion of the Halifax Lateral of the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline. It also runs along the western shore of Lake Micmac and the western edge of Shubie Park and is known as Lakeview Drive.
Metro Transit (Halifax)
Metro Transit is a Canadian public transport agency operating buses and ferries in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). Owned by the municipality, Metro Transit's operations area is the urban core in the western part of the municipality, namely the Halifax and Dartmouth Metropolitan Areas, along with adjacent outlying neighbourhoods and communities. Metro Transit is the largest transit agency in Atlantic Canada, carrying 18.5 million passengers in fiscal year 2007/2008.
Crichton Park, Nova Scotia
Crichton Park is a mostly residential neighbourhood in the Dartmouth area of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. It is located in the north end of Dartmouth close to the Macdonald and MacKay bridges, Brightwood Golf and Country Club, Mic Mac Mall and Lake Banook. In January 2004, Crichton Park became the first residential area to receive natural gas service in Nova Scotia. Prior to that date, Nova Scotia relied on petroleum, coal, hydro, and wood.
Highfield Park, Nova Scotia
Highfield Park is a neighbourhood located in the north end of the community of Dartmouth in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality. Highfield Park is located in the larger neighbourhood of Albro Lake (also a part of the North End) and is situated on the former site of the Royal Canadian Navy's Naval Radio Station Albro Lake.

Along with English, the school also offers the French immersion program. Dartmouth High overlooks the Halifax Harbour, which can be seen from about one sixth of the rooms in the building.

The Halifax Regional School Board is the public school board responsible for 137 elementary, junior high, and high schools located within the Halifax Regional Municipality in Nova Scotia, Canada. Brightwood, Nova Scotia
Brightwood is a lower to upper middle income neighbourhood in Dartmouth, and part of District 9 of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. Brightwood is located between Thistle Street and Woodland Avenue, and contains the Brightwood Golf Course. The primary streets of the small neighbourhood are Victoria Road and Slayter Street. The course also borders on Creighton Park and Thistle Street
Shubie Park
Shubie Park is a 40-acre urban park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia maintained by the Halifax Regional Municipality. Heavily forested, Shubie Park is roughly linear in shape as it is bounded on the north and west by Highway 118 expressway and on the south and east by Lake Micmac and the southern edge of Lake Charles. A portion of the abandoned Shubenacadie Canal passes through the park, from which the park takes its name.
Dartmouth Commons
The Dartmouth Common is an approximately 300 acres area of land set aside by the government in the late 18th century for the settlers common use in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada. Much of it is maintained by the Halifax Regional Municipality, Today the most prominent area is called the Leighton Dillman Scenic Garden, which is named after a voluntary keeper of the garden.
Albro Lake, Nova Scotia
Albro Lake is a neighbourhood in the north end of the community of Dartmouth in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality. Albro Lake takes its name from the shallow freshwater lake of the same name. The lake was named after Samuel Albro, who first settled in the area in the 1740s with a group of other residents from Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
