Belyea's Point Light

Belyea's Point Lighthouse is an 11 metre tall landfall lighthouse located along the Saint John River, near the community of Morrisdale. It was built in 1881, commenced operation on June 1, 1882, with Spafford Barker Belyea serving as its first keeper and later rebuilt at a slightly different location after having been damaged due to severe flooding in the 1930s. The Canadian Coast Guard owns the lighthouse, the land it is on, and maintains it.

Nerepis River

The Nerepis River is a river approximately 25 miles long, located in New Brunswick, Canada. A popular river for canoeists and anglers, it is a tributary of the Saint John River. The river has been subjected to significant environmental stress over many years. The river meets the Saint John River at Westfield, part of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, where it feeds a fresh water marsh.
