City of Wanneroo
The City of Wanneroo is a Local Government Area with City status, located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. It is centred approximately 25 kilometres north of Perth's central business district and forms part of the northern boundary of the Perth metropolitan area. The City's main commercial and residential town centres are located at Wanneroo in the east and Clarkson in the north.
Marangaroo, Western Australia
Marangaroo is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is located approximately 18 km north of Perth City, and is home to the Marangaroo Golf Course and two primary schools - Rawlinson Primary School and Marangaroo Primary School. Marangaroo means place of blue flowers in the local aboriginal language.

Alexander Heights, Western Australia
Alexander Heights is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Wanneroo. Originally named "Alinjarra", an Aboriginal word for 'north' in 1977, this suburb was renamed Alexander Heights in 1987. The name is derived from Alexander Drive, the main arterial road into the area which forms the suburb's eastern boundary. The road was in turn named after Mr S.B. Alexander, a former Wanneroo Road Board member.

The suburb came into being in the late 1990s as a subdivision of Wanneroo, and was named in 1997 after a local landowner, Mr E E Ashby, who owned land in the area in 1913.

The suburb was named after Herbert Hocking, a local landowner, first Chairman of the Wanneroo Road Board and member of the Board from 1903-1931. He was also treasurer of the Agricultural Society in 1909. The suburb is home to many new houses (many still under construction), much vacant land under development, as well as remnant market gardens.

Tapping was chosen as the suburb name in honour of an early settler family in the Wanneroo area. Mr William Tapping arrived in 1886 and Molly and Dolly Tapping were long time Postmistresses in Wanneroo. The name for the suburb was approved in 1997.

Yellagonga Regional Park
Yellagonga Regional Park is in Perth, Western Australia, in the City of Wanneroo and the City of Joondalup. The park was established in 1989 by the Western Australian government and protects 1,400 hectares of land, including 550 hectares of wetlands – Lake Joondalup, Beenup Swamp, Walluburnup Swamp and Lake Goollelal. The park contains heritage buildings, including Perry's Cottage, Cockman House and Luisini Winery, and recreation areas such as Neil Hawkins Park.
