North Albany Football Club
The North Albany Football and Sporting Club, more often referred to as North Albany, is an Australian rules football club located in Albany, Western Australia. Nicknamed the Kangas, the club play in the Great Southern Football League, with home games being hosted at Collingwood Park. King River (Western Australia)
The King River is a river in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The river rises east of the town of Redmond. The river flows for approximately 27 kilometres and along with the Kalgan River drains into Oyster Harbour and finally King George Sound north east of Albany. The river was named after Captain Phillip Parker King RN (1791-1856) by Dr Thomas Braidwood Wilson while exploring the region in December 1829.

Oyster Harbour, Western Australia
Oyster Harbour is a permanently open estuary, which covers an area of 15.6 square kilometres near Albany, Western Australia. The Harbour is used to shelter a fishing fleet carrying out commercial fishing and the farming of oysters and mussels. A significant number of waterbirds use the Harbour for feeding. The place is currently a family tourist center. A planned locality of Oyster Harbour on the Lower King Road is under construction with 2,300 home sites.

Lower King is a town in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. It is located 385 km south-east of Perth and the closest populated town is Albany. Located along the lower reaches of the King River on the western shore of Oyster Harbour, both the town and the river were named after Captain Philip Parker King who first visited the area in the 1818 aboard the Mermaid. The area was first settled in the 1830s but the townsite was not gazetted until 1959.
