Rose Park, Salt Lake City
Rose Park is a neighborhood located in the northwest area of Salt Lake City, Utah and is among the most ethnically diverse areas in Utah. Its name comes from the area's original developer, who arranged part of the area's streets in the shape of several roses, with one of its main streets, American Beauty Drive, acting as a long rose stem. This area's original roof shingles were red or green and its street names all feature rose varieties.
Gateway District
The Gateway District is a large open air retail, residential and office complex in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The complex is centered around the historic Union Pacific Depot in downtown Salt Lake City. It currently contains over 105 stores and restaurants. The Gateway began as part of Salt Lake City's urban redevelopment project, and the first phase was completed prior to the 2002 Winter Olympics that were held in Utah. The first phase included 2.1 million sq. ft.

Glendale, Salt Lake City
Glendale is a neighborhood on the West side of Salt Lake City, Utah. Glendale is situated South of the Rose Park, Fair Park, and Poplar Grove neighborhoods. The neighborhood was originally developed as Glendale Gardens which is where Glendale Middle School derives its name. Mountain View Elementary (which is situated next to Glendale Middle School) was originally named Glendale Elementary. United Airlines Flight 227 (N7030U), a scheduled passenger flight from LaGuardia Airport (LGA), New York City to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), San Francisco, California, crashed short of the runway while attempting a scheduled landing at Salt Lake City International Airport, Salt Lake City, Utah on November 11, 1965.
Summum Pyramid
The Summum Pyramid is a sanctuary and temple used by the organization of Summum for instruction in the Summum philosophy. It is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was built during 1977 to 1979. The pyramid is 40 feet long at the base, 26 feet high, and is oriented towards True North of the Earth. The structure also incorporates the Divine Proportion in its design.

Poplar Grove, Salt Lake City
Poplar Grove is a western neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. It lies north of Glendale and south of Rose Park. It is one of the smallest neighborhoods in Salt Lake and is often confused with areas around it, including Glendale, Rose Park, and Fair Park. On the east it is bordered by I-15 and extends west only a few blocks to about 1000 west where it meets with the fairgrounds neighborhood.

Old GreekTown is a light rail station in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, United States serviced by the Blue Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX system. The Blue Line has service from the Salt Lake Intermodal Hub in Downtown Salt Lake City to Sandy, and soon to Draper. For several years prior the opening of the Airport Extension, it was also on the route of the Green Line.
Murray North (UTA station)
Murray North is a light rail station in Murray, Utah serviced by the Blue Line and the Red Line of the Trax system. Its address is given as 4400 South even though it is only accessible from Fireclay Avenue, which corresponds to 4300 South on the Salt Lake City street grid. Several new streets are under construction in the area as part of a transit-oriented development project, however, so access is likely to improve. The station has connections to bus routes 45, 47, 205, and 228.
Fashion Place West (UTA station)
Fashion Place West is a light rail station in Murray, Utah, United States serviced by both the Blue Line and the Red Line of Utah Transit Authority's TRAX light rail system. The Blue Line provides service from Downtown Salt Lake City to Sandy (extending to Draper beginning in August 2013). Utah State Fair
The Utah State Fair is held at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. The fairgrounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The fair takes place each year starting on the first Thursday after Labor Day and lasts for 11 days. In 2012 the Fair was September 6–16, 2012. Gates opened at 10 a.m. daily and admission was $10 per adult, less for children.
