Salt Lake City is located in a large valley, the Salt Lake Valley, separated by the Wasatch Mountains to the east and the Oquirrh Mountains to the west. Utah Supreme Court

The Utah Supreme Court is the supreme court of the state of Utah. It has final authority of interpretation of the Utah Constitution. The Utah Supreme Court is composed of five members: a chief justice, an associate chief justice, and three justices. All justices are appointed by the governor of Utah, with confirmation by the Utah Senate. The justices vote amongst themselves for the chief justice and associate chief justice, who each serve a term of four years.

Gallivan Center

The Gallivan Center is an urban plaza in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It opened in 1993. Also known as the John W. Gallivan Utah Center, it is named in honor of John W. Gallivan. 222 Main is Utah’s first LEED Gold certified high-rise. The structure stands 22 stories high and is located at 222 South Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
