Garden City, Idaho
Garden City is a city in Ada County, Idaho, United States. The population was 10,972 at the 2010 census. Garden City is nearly surrounded by Boise but retains a separate municipal government. Garden City was named for gardens raised by Chinese immigrants who lived in the area. The name of the city's main street, Chinden Boulevard, is a portmanteau of the words "China" and "garden. " Garden City is part of the Boise City–Nampa, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The State of Idaho Executive Residence, also known as the Governor's House or Idaho House, is the official residence of the governor of Idaho, located in Boise, the state capital. Located at 4000 Simplot Lane on the top of a prominent hill in the Highlands area of North Boise, the house is the former residence of billionaire potato and agribusiness magnate J. R. (Jack) Simplot and wife Esther Simplot.
Grand Army of the Republic Hall (Boise, Idaho)
The Grand Army of the Republic Hall is an historic Grand Army of the Republic building located at 714 W. State Street in Boise, Idaho, in the United States. The hall was built in 1892 by members of the GAR as a memorial to the Union Army veterans of the Civil War. It was the meeting place of Phil Sheridan GAR Post No. 4, which was named for Union General Philip Sheridan. It was one of 32 GAR halls in Idaho. On January 21, 1974, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
KGEM
KGEM is a radio station broadcasting a religious talk format. Licensed to Boise, Idaho, USA, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by SNL Radio, LLC. Former owners Journal Broadcast Group announced July 22, 2009 that KGEM, along with sister station KCID, were to be sold to Salt & Light Radio for $950,000. The sale closed on September 25, 2009, and as a result the stations were converted to Salt & Light's local Catholic radio format.
Western Idaho Fair
The Western Idaho Fair is the annual de facto state fair of Idaho. It has been held in the capital city of Boise virtually every late summer/early fall since 1897, and annually in the contiguous city of Garden City on the grounds of the Expo Idaho since 1967. The corresponding Eastern Idaho Fair is held in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Boise Centre
The Boise Centre is an 85,000-square-foot convention center located on the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise, Idaho. The facility was completed in 1990 and includes a 350-seat auditorium, 20 meeting rooms, and a 24,426 square feet ballroom. The Boise Centre is home to over 300 events a year and receives over 200,000 guests annually. It hosts a variety of events including conferences, trade shows, major Chamber of Commerce events and many galas.

One Capital Center
