Tejen
Tejen (or Tedzhen) is an oasis city in the Karakum Desert, in Ahal Province of Turkmenistan. It is located at latitude 37.3786 North; longitude 60.4961 East at an altitude of 161 meters. It has a population of approximately 52,000. The Hari River passes near Tejen, and is therefore known in Turkmenistan as the Tejen River.

Tejen District is a district of Ahal Province in Turkmenistan. It covers an area of 12,000 km² with an estimated 110,000 people in 2006. The main city is Tejen, located near the Hanhowuz Reservoir. The main highway is the M37 highway.
