Cucuteni
Cucuteni is a commune in Iaşi County, Romania, with a population of 1,446 as of 2002. It is located 45 km from the city of Iaşi and 10 km from the town of Târgu Frumos. Neighbouring villages and communes are Todireşti (to the north), Târgu Frumos and Cotnari (to the east) and Ruginoasa (to the west). The name of the village is derived from Romanian word "cucută", meaning hemlock. The commune is composed of four villages: Băiceni, Bărbăteşti, Cucuteni and Săcăreşti.
Cotnari
Cotnari is a village and the center of the eponymous commune in Iaşi County, Romania, in the informal region of Moldova. It is located north-west of Iaşi and south of Hârlău, in a major wine-producing region of Romania, and is famous for the wine variety known as Grasă de Cotnari. Cârjoaia, the forest of Dumbrava Roșie, and other sites in Cotnari are regional tourist spots.
Belcești
Belceşti is a commune in Iaşi County, Romania, situated on the Bahlui River 44 km from Iaşi. One of the county's largest largest communes, with a population of 11,179 in 2002, it is composed of six villages: Belceşti, Liteni, Munteni, Satu Nou, Tansa, and Ulmi. In the vicinity of Belceşti, the important Tansa-Belceşti dam was built on the Bahlui River in order to prevent flooding. Most Belceşti residents work in agriculture, with fishing another livelihood.

Strunga is a commune in Iaşi County, Romania. It is situated 55 km from Iaşi city. It is composed of eight villages: Brătuleşti, Criveşti, Cucova, Fărcăşeni, Fedeleşeni, Gura Văii, Hăbăşeşti and Strunga. At the 2002 census, 100% of inhabitants were ethnic Romanians. 55.3% were Romanian Orthodox, 43.8% Roman Catholic and 0.6% Seventh-day Adventist. Today Strunga is a resort of local interest. Its mineral waters can be used in the treatment of many diseases.
