Odaiba
is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay, Japan, across the Rainbow Bridge from central Tokyo. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1850s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.
Comiket
, otherwise known as the Comic Market, is the world's largest dōjinshi fair, held twice a year in Tokyo, Japan. The first Comiket was held on December 21, 1975, with only about 32 participating circles and an estimated 600 attendees. Attendance has since swelled to over a half million people. It is a grassroots, DIY effort for selling dōjinshi, self-published Japanese works.
Japan Open Tennis Championships
The Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships is a tennis tournament held in Ariake Tennis Forest Park with its center court Ariake Coliseum, located in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Held since 1972, the championship includes men's singles and doubles competitions. Until 2008 it was a joint tournament for both men and women, but since 2008 Ariake Coliseum has hosted another women's tournament, Toray Pan Pacific Open.

Ariake Coliseum is an indoor sporting arena in Ariake Tennis Forest Park (有明テニスの森公園, Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen) located in Ariake, Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It has a capacity of 10,000. The arena is used as the center court for the Japan Open Tennis Championships and the Toray Pan Pacific Open held in Ariake Tennis Forest Park. It is one of the few professional tennis venues which has a retractable roof.
Joypolis
Joypolis is an amusement park that was first opened on July 20, 1994 in Yokohama, Japan. Joypolis centres have since opened in several cities in Japan with the parks featuring arcade games and amusement rides based on Sega intellectual properties. As of 2010, only the parks in Odaiba, Tokyo; Umeda, Osaka; and Okayama City, Okayama are currently open. Similar parks, owned in whole or part by Sega, called SegaWorld or GameWorks are also in existence.
Differ Ariake Arena
Differ Ariake Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in the Ariake neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan, next to the Pro Wrestling Noah headquarters office. The capacity of the arena is 1,246 seats and it was opened in 1999. It is owned by Pro Wrestling Noah and is mainly used for professional wrestling and martial arts events. The arena may be reached on a short walk from either Ariake Tennis no Mori Station on the New Transit Yurikamome or Kokusai-Tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line.

The first event was held in 2002 as "Tokyo International Anime Fair 21". The event is held at Tokyo Big Sight, a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo Bay, in late March.
Tokyo Big Sight
Tokyo Big Sight is the popular nickname for the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, a Japanese convention center that opened in April 1996. Located in Odaiba, Tokyo Bay, the center is one of the largest convention venues within the city, and its most iconic representation is the visually distinctive Conference Tower.
Shin-toyosu Station
Shin-toyosu Station is a train station on the Yurikamome Line, in Kōtō, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. Its station number is U-15. The station opened on 27 March 2006. The area around the station is the site of ongoing building projects, part of long-term plans to develop the Ariake area, which lies to the east of the successful Odaiba complex of residential, commercial, and research facilities.

Toyosu Station is a railway station in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by Tokyo Metro and Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Corporation. It actually consists of an underground metro station (numbered Y-22) on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, and an elevated station forming the eastern terminus of the Yurikamome Line (station number U-16).

The station's name literally means "In Front of the Marketplace. " No market currently exists (the station is fronted on both sides by vacant fields); the Tokyo Central Wholesale Market (more popularly known as the Tsukiji fish market), however, is scheduled to move to the area in 2012.

The name of this station translated means "Ariake Tennis Forest" - a likely reference to the Ariake Tennis no Mori Park which is where the Japan Open Tennis Championship is held.

Ariake is most well known internationally as the site of the Tokyo Big Sight international exhibition centre.

Kidzania Tokyo
Kidzania Tokyo is a family edutainment center amusement park, in the LaLaport Toyosu, Tokyo, Japan opened in October 2006. A part of the Kidzania franchise, Kidzania Tokyo is the third ever Kidzania theme park ever built, preceded by Mexico City and Monterrey, and succeeded by Kidzania Jakarta. As like other Kidzania Theme parks, the Tokyo franchise offers 70 occupations for enjoyment by children; nevertheless, it was nearly identical to any other Kidzania theme parks in the franchise.
Daikanransha
is a 115-metre tall Ferris wheel at Palette Town in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. When it opened in 1999, it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. It has the same 100-metre diameter as its world record predecessor, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, at Osaka, but its overall height is 2.5 metres greater. Daikanransha lost its world's tallest status to the 135-metre London Eye, which officially opened on December 31, 1999, but which did not open to the public until March 2000 because of technical problems.
1855 Ansei Edo earthquake
The 1855 Ansei Edo earthquake, also known as the Great Ansei Earthquake, was one of the major disasters of the late-Edo period. The earthquake occurred at 22:00 local time on 11 November. It had an epicenter close to Edo, causing considerable damage in the Kantō region from the shaking and subsequent fires, with a death toll of about 7,000 people.
Ariake Station (Tokyo)
Ariake Station is a railway station on the Yurikamome Line, in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Its station number is U-12. Opened on 1 November 1995, the station is located within walking distance to Kokusai-tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line. The station served as the line's eastern terminus before the extension to Toyosu Station opened. However, some services from Shimbashi still terminates at Ariake.
