Japan Open Tennis Championships
The Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships is a tennis tournament held in Ariake Tennis Forest Park with its center court Ariake Coliseum, located in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. Held since 1972, the championship includes men's singles and doubles competitions. Until 2008 it was a joint tournament for both men and women, but since 2008 Ariake Coliseum has hosted another women's tournament, Toray Pan Pacific Open.

Ariake Coliseum is an indoor sporting arena in Ariake Tennis Forest Park (有明テニスの森公園, Ariake Tenisu no Mori Kōen) located in Ariake, Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. It has a capacity of 10,000. The arena is used as the center court for the Japan Open Tennis Championships and the Toray Pan Pacific Open held in Ariake Tennis Forest Park. It is one of the few professional tennis venues which has a retractable roof.

Differ Ariake Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in the Ariake neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan, next to the Pro Wrestling Noah headquarters office. The capacity of the arena is 1,246 seats and it was opened in 1999. It is owned by Pro Wrestling Noah and is mainly used for professional wrestling and martial arts events. The arena may be reached on a short walk from either Ariake Tennis no Mori Station on the New Transit Yurikamome or Kokusai-Tenjijō Station on the Rinkai Line.

Kidzania Tokyo is a family edutainment center amusement park, in the LaLaport Toyosu, Tokyo, Japan opened in October 2006. A part of the Kidzania franchise, Kidzania Tokyo is the third ever Kidzania theme park ever built, preceded by Mexico City and Monterrey, and succeeded by Kidzania Jakarta. As like other Kidzania Theme parks, the Tokyo franchise offers 70 occupations for enjoyment by children; nevertheless, it was nearly identical to any other Kidzania theme parks in the franchise.
1855 Ansei Edo earthquake
The 1855 Ansei Edo earthquake, also known as the Great Ansei Earthquake, was one of the major disasters of the late-Edo period. The earthquake occurred at 22:00 local time on 11 November. It had an epicenter close to Edo, causing considerable damage in the Kantō region from the shaking and subsequent fires, with a death toll of about 7,000 people.
