Fenit Island

Fenit Island is a populated island, in on the coast of County Kerry, connected to the mainland by a sandbar. Located in Tralee Bay, the island encloses Barrow Harbour. Historically, the area was called 'Fenit Within'. It is adjacent to the areas of 'Tawlacht' and 'Fenit Without' on the mainland. The terms within/without refer to the walled protection that surrounded parts of the island from attackers from the landward side.

Baurtregaum

Baurtregaum or Bartregaum (from Irish: Barr Trí gCom, meaning "top of the three hollows") is a 851 m (2,792 ft) mountain peak in County Kerry, Republic of Ireland. It is the highest of the Slieve Mish Mountains and the 17th highest peak in Ireland. Baurtregaum and the Slieve Mish mountains sit at the eastern end of the Dingle Peninsula. To the west of Baurtregaum is the peak of Caherconree (835 m), to the north the peak of Scragg (657 m), and to the west Glanbrack Mountain.
