Monard is a planned new settlement situated to the north-west of Cork City in Ireland. It is expected to cover 966 acres and contain 5,000 new dwellings for 13,000 people as well as schools, a medical centre and other facilities. It is expected to be smaller in size but similar in concept to Adamstown in Dublin.
