Lahti longwave transmitter
The Lahti longwave transmitter was a facility for long wave transmission at Lahti, Finland. It was inaugurated in 1927 and used as an aerial a T-type aerial spun between two 150 metre high free standing steel framework towers. The Lahti longwave transmitter was shut down in 1993. Nowadays the facility is used as a museum. The red-and-white towers are still standing and form a local landmark.

It, along with neighboring ski jumping hills, has hosted two FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and numerous FIS World Cup events.

Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LUAS) is a multidisciplinary institution of higher professional education, formerly known as Lahti Polytechnic in Lahti, Finland. LUAS is located in Southern Finland, 100 km from the capital of Helsinki. The six faculties of LUAS operate in a number of locations in Lahti, with the main central campus rea within a kilometre from the city centre, close to Lake Vesijärvi and the Salpausselkä outdoor recreation area.
Sibelius Hall
The Sibelius Hall is a concert hall in Lahti, Finland, named after the composer Jean Sibelius. The concert hall was completed in 2000. Architects Kimmo Lintula and Hannu Tikka designed the hall, which is made of wood. The acoustics were engineered by Artec Consultants, New York. Its acoustics are one of its strongest points, while the architecture follows the Scandinavian tradition of sophisticated design. The concert hall has a capacity of 1,250 seats.

Enonselkä Basin is a lake basin of Lake Vesijärvi in Lahti in southern Finland. The mean depth of the lake basin is 16.2 metres. The basin suffered severe effects of eutrophication in the 1960s and a restoration programme began in the 1970s.
Lahti railway station
The Lahti railway station is located in the city of Lahti in Finland. The station was designed by architect Thure Hellström from the VR Group and built in 1935. Because of the depression in the 1930s, the station did not get a third floor, neither did it get a tower, as the Tampere railway station did. The plan of the station is rectangular and it has two floors. It is built of dark brown brick. In 2006, the station was renovated.

Lahti Institute of Design
Institute of Design (Finnish: Muotoiluinstituutti or Lahden Muotoiluinstituutti) is a part of Lahti University of Applied Sciences, which is a large, multidisciplinary institution of higher education, located some 100 km north of the Finnish capital, Helsinki. The Degree Programmes in Design and Visual Communication base their education on the visual arts and humanities. The history of the Lahti Institute of Design dates back to 1899, when an agricultural college was founded in Lahti.
Military Music Museum of Finland
The Military Music Museum was established in a building, that belonged to a local garrison, and was built in 1914. The red-brick building was used as storage for bicycles in 1993 and it was repaired for use as a museum with the help of the European union structural funds in 2003, according to architect Jouko Mattila. The collections are related to the history of Finnish military music. There are also audio samples and photographs presented.
