Haraldssund
Haralssund is a town in the Faroe Islands situated on the island of Kunoy. Population: \t70 Postal code (Zip): \tFO 785 Location: \t\t{{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:62|16|20|N|6|36|7|W| | |name= }} Municipality:\tKunoyar Haralssund is located on the east coast of Kunoy and is connected to the village of Kunoy on the west coast by a tunnel. To the east, it is linked to the town of Klaksvík on Borðoy by a dam. The tunnel and the dam were built in the late 1980s.
Strond
Strond is a former village in the north of the town Klaksvík at the sound of Haraldssund in the Faroe Islands. It is situated on Borðoy at the dam combining Borðoy and Kunoy. Since 1930 no people have lived there. There is a power plant there, first made as a water power plant, but later it was expanded with a diesel power plant. Sund was first time mentioned in old documents in 1584.
Norðoyar
The six islands in the northeast of the Faroe Islands are together referred to as Norðoyar, i.e. the Northern Isles. These Islands are Kalsoy, Kunoy, Borðoy, Viðoy, Svínoy and Fugloy. Klaksvík is regarded as the natural capital of this region. Norðoyar is sometimes spelled Norðoyggjar.
KÍ Stadium
KÍ Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KÍ Klaksvík. The stadium holds 3,000 people and was opened in the year 2000.
