Runavík
Runavík is a comparatively urbanised village in the Faroe Islands. It lies on the south half of the isle of Eysturoy. The municipality of the same name incorporates 14 settlements including Æðuvík, Rituvík, Saltangará, Glyvrar, Lambi, Lambareiði, Søldarfjørður, Skipanes, Skáli, Skálafjørður, Funningsfjørður, Funningur, Elduvík and Oyndarfjørður which together form a long, narrow residential conurbation over 10 kilometre long following the east bank Skálafjørður.
Svangaskarð
Svangaskarð is a multi-purpose stadium in Toftir, Faroe Islands with two football fields and a sports arena for athletics around the lower field. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 6,000 people. It was the sole home ground of the Faroe Islands national football team from 1991 and until the Tórsvøllur Stadium was built in the capital Tórshavn in 1999 and is still occasionally used for international football matches.

Æðuvík
Æðuvík (from Æða meaning "duck" and vík meaning "bay"). This community, founded in 1897, is located on the southernmost tip of Eysturoy island of the Faroe Islands. Its postal code is FO 645. Its population is about 100, and it is located at N 62° 4' 11 W 6° 41' 24. The village is located in the Runavík municipality along with Glyvur, Runavík, Saltangará, Rituvík, Skipanes, Søldarfjørður, Elduvík, Funningsfjørður, Glyvrar, Oyndarfjørður, Skáli, Skálafjørður, Lambi, and Lambareiði.
Saltangará
Saltangará (population 764) was founded in 1846 and is situated on the eastern side of Eysturoy Skalafjordur-inlet between Rituvík and Søldarfjørður. The name is derived from three words: angar comes from the Old Norse angr which means a fjord or bay; á means a stream; and salt has the same meaning in Faroese, Icelandic and English.
Strendur
Strendur is a village on the Faroese island Eysturoy, Denmark located along the Skálafjørður fjord in the Sjóvar municipality. The 2002 population was 816. Its postal code is FO 490. Strendur means beach or strand in the Faroese language.
Eystur
Eystur kommuna is a municipality (kommuna) in the Faroe Islands. Eystur means East. In Faroese it is called Eystur Kommuna (East Municipality). It covers a part of the island of Eysturoy. The municipality was created on 1 January 2009 from the merger of Leirvík and Gøta municipalities. It includes the villages of Leirvík, Norðragøta, Gøtueiði, Gøtugjógv and Syðrugøta, as well as other small settlements.
Sjóvar, Faroe Islands
Sjóvar kommuna ("Sea municipality" in Faroese) is a municipality of the Faroese Islands. It covers a part of the island of Eysturoy. It consists of the villages of Strendur, Innan Glyvur, Selatrað, Morskranes en Kolbanargjógv.
