Targettville is a community in the Local Service District of Weldford Parish, located on the Richibucto River, 7.55 km NE of Fords Mills, on the road to Browns Yard. This community had a Post Office 1928-1956 and was site of the Targettville Quarry, an operation to extract stone works along the river and move them to Richibucto to construct the break water for that harbour.

At one time named Moulies River Station, it is located 3.15 km North East of Bass River, New Brunswick on the road to Richibucto. In 1904 Moulies River Station was a stop on the Kent Northern Railway. The first European settlers of the south side of the Molus River were 1821 Thomas Phelan (Whalen), John Phelan, Patrick Phelan.

In Browns Yard, the road merges with Route 490 near Jerrys Island.
