Fort Edmonton
Fort Edmonton (also named Edmonton House) was the name of a series of trading posts of the Hudson's Bay Company from 1795 to 1891, all of which were located in central Alberta, Canada. From 1795 to 1821 it was paired with the North West Company's Fort Augustus.

University Station is an LRT station operated by Edmonton Transit System in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is located beneath the University of Alberta campus at 112 Street and 89 Avenue. University Station was opened August 23, 1992 and was the first LRT Station located on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. It is connected to Grandin (Government Centre) Station by the Dudley B. Menzies Bridge, a dedicated LRT bridge (with a lower level for pedestrians and cyclists).
Queen Elizabeth Pool, Edmonton
The Queen Elizabeth Pool, located in the south side of the North Saskatchewan River valley in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, was the oldest municipal pool in Western Canada. The Edmonton Bulletin described the pool as “delightfully situated in what is generally recognized as the city’s most beautiful park. " The pool was opened on August 22, 1922, but is no longer in use. The facility was demolished in the summer of 2011.
Kinsmen Field House
Kinsmen Field House is a multi-purpose sport and recreation facility located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The land surrounding the facility is called Kinsman Park or Kin Park. Its namesake is the Kinsmen, a service organization. The facility was opened January 3, 1968 and provides year-round public facilities for sports and recreational activities.
Garneau Theatre
The Garneau Theatre is a historic movie theatre located on 109 Street in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The theatre originally operated independently until it joined with Famous Players in 1941. It closed in late 1990, and reopened in December 1991 under Magic Lantern Theatres who restored it in 1996. Magic Lantern operated the Garneau until June 2011 when it closed. The Garneau became Metro Cinema Edmonton's new home in July 2011, and was officially reopened in September 2011.
Walterdale Bridge
The Walterdale Bridge (formerly called the 105 Street Bridge) is a bridge that spans the North Saskatchewan River in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was built by the Dominion Bridge Company, and was named after John Walter, an early settler who ran a ferry at this approximate location. The bridge is currently scheduled for replacement. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2013, and will continue through 2015. The old bridge is scheduled to be removed 2015 - 2016.
Strathcona Public Building
The Strathcona Public Building or South Edmonton Post Office is an historic building in the Old Strathcona heritage district of Edmonton. The building was constructed between 1911 and 1913, during a massive building boom in the Edmonton area, and at the same time that the city of Strathcona, Alberta (also called South Edmonton) was being merged into the city of Edmonton.
Walterdale, Edmonton
Walterdale is a former industrial and residential neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada within the North Saskatchewan River valley. It is located on the south shore of the river in an area now occupied by Kinsmen Park within a river valley neighbourhood named River Valley Walterdale.
