Chacao, Venezuela
Chacao is one of the five political and administrative subdivisions of the city of Caracas, Venezuela. The other four are Baruta, El Hatillo, Libertador and Sucre. This legal entity is known as the Caracas Metropolitan District. Chacao is also one of the 21 municipalities that make up the State of Miranda, Venezuela.
Altamira (Caracas)
Altamira is a neighborhood located in the Chacao municipality of Caracas, Venezuela. It has its own Metro Station, many hotels and restaurants, and is an important business and residential center of the city. The Francisco de Miranda avenue (a major avenue in Caracas) and the Distibuidor Altamira are both located in Altamira.
Central University of Venezuela
The Central University of Venezuela (or Universidad Central de Venezuela, UCV, in Spanish) is a premier public University of Venezuela located in Caracas. Founded in 1721, it is the oldest university in Venezuela and one of the oldest in the Western Hemisphere . The main university campus, Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas, was designed by architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva and it is considered a masterpiece of urban planning and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
El Ávila National Park
The El Ávila National Park (or Waraira Repano, from an indigenous name for the area) covers part of the mountainous region of the coastal area of north-central Venezuela. The area's highest elevation is Pico Naiguatá, at 2,765 meters above sea level. The National Park is named for the Cerro El Ávila (Mountain El Ávila), usually just referred to as "El Ávila", which reaches 2,740 meters above sea level.
Estadio Olímpico (Caracas)
The Estadio Olímpico de la UCV is a multi-purpose stadium in Caracas, Venezuela. It is a multipurpose stadium with a running track used primarily for the practice of football, athletics and rugby, which is part of the Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas and as such named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most important stadiums of Venezuela and one of the oldest in the country. Anecdotally, the Venezuela national football team has not played at this stadium as of September 3, 2003.

Estadio Universitario is a multi-use stadium in Caracas, Venezuela. The stadium holds 22,690 people and was built in 1952. This stadium is home for 2 national teams: Leones del Caracas (2006 National Champions and Caribbean League Champions) and Tiburones de la Guaira. It is currently used mostly for baseball games.
University City of Caracas
The University City of Caracas (Spanish: Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas) is the main Campus of the Central University of Venezuela. It was designed by the Venezuelan architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000. The Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas is considered a masterpiece of architecture and urban planning and is the only university campus designed by a single architect in the 20th century that has received such recognition by UNESCO.

Bolivarian University of Venezuela
The Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela (UBV, English: Bolivarian University of Venezuela) is a state university in Venezuela founded in 2003 by decree of President Hugo Chávez. The UBV is a part of the Chávez government's "Mission Sucre" social programs, which aim to provide free higher education to the poor. Consequently, enrollment at the UBV is free and open to all, regardless of academic qualifications, prior education or even nationality.

Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base
Generalisimo Francisco de Miranda Airbase is located in Caracas, Venezuela. The airport is named for Francisco de Miranda a South American revolutionary, though most people refer to this airport as La Carlota. On November 27, 1992, the airport was bombed during a coup attempt. In 2006, Leopoldo López, mayor of the Chacao Municipality (where La Carlota is located), has proposed demolishing the airport and building homes and businesses on the land.
Petare
Petare is a city in Miranda, Venezuela, and is part of the urban area of Caracas. It is the located in the Sucre Municipality, one of the five divisions of Caracas. The city was founded in 1621 under the name of San Jose de Guanarito. It grew to become a part of the greater Caracas area as the latter expanded in area and population. The city is traditionally considered to be a suburb of Caracas, but has developed its own commercial core.
Caracas Athenaeum
The Caracas Athenaeum (known in Spanish as the Ateneo de Caracas) is a cultural institution centred on the arts. It is currently located in Macaracuay, at the Southeast corner of Caracas, after having been expelled by the Bolivarian government from its premises located in the area of Los Caobos, Caracas, Venezuela. Its former building hosted two theatre auditoriums, a concert hall, a library, a gallery, a cinema, rehearsal rooms, a café, as well as numerous offices.
Las Mercedes (district in Caracas, Venezuela)
Las Mercedes is the largest district for shopping and leisure in Latin America. It is located at the Baruta Municipality, Caracas. It contains discos and pubs. It contains clothing and fashion stores, art galleries, and restaurants, that include diverse gastronomical specialties from local food such as areperas to foreign and international food.
Universidad Metropolitana
The Metropolitan University was founded in 1970 by a group of entrepreneurs led by Eugenio Mendoza Goiticoa in the terrains donated by the businessman Pius Schlageter, father of the Venezuelan painter Eduardo Schlageter. It is located in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, near Petare. Today, the University has 5,000 students and approximately 500 professors. It is a business oriented private University, Business Administration being one of the most important courses offered.
Banco del Libro
Banco del Libro is a non-profit organization for the promotion of children's literature, with headquarters in Caracas, Venezuela. It was established in 1960 as a centre for the exchange of textbooks – hence the name Banco del Libro (Book Bank). As it has grown it has diversified to promote reading in Venezuela, in every conceivable arena and genre of children’s literature.

Universidad Santa María (Caracas)
Universidad Santa María (USM) is a private university in Venezuela. USM has campuses in several cities, such as Caracas (where the main campus is located), Puerto La Cruz, Barinas and Puerto Ayacucho. The university was founded on October 13, 1953 by Lola de Fuenmayor in El Paraíso neighborhood (Southwestern Caracas), then in 1983 the main campus of the university was built in La Florencia (East Caracas), which has many green areas for the enjoyment of their students.
Centro Financiero Confinanzas
Centro Financiero Confinanzas also known as Torre de David (the Tower of David), is an unfinished skyscraper in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. It is the third highest skyscraper in the country after the twin towers of Parque Central Complex. The construction of the tower began in 1990 but was halted in 1994 due to the Venezuelan banking crisis. As of early 2013, the building remains uncompleted.
Mosque of Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim
The Mosque Ibrahim Ibin Abdul Aziz Al-Ibrahim or Caracas Mosque is a mosque in the El Recreo district of Caracas. It is the second largest mosque in Latin America after the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Buenos Aires. The construction of the mosque began in 1989 by Sheikh Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz. The building was designed by architect Zuhe Fayez. The mosque occupies an area of 5000 m²; its minaret is 113 metres high (the highest in Latin America). The dome is 23 metres high.
Parque del Este
East Park (officially Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park in honor of Venezuelan national hero) is a public recreation park. Located in the Sucre Municipality of Metropolitan Caracas in Venezuela, is one of the most important city with a total of 82 hectares (equivalent to 0.82 km ²) in area, designed by Brazilian landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx. Opened in 1961. The park is located just outside the station Miranda (formerly East Park) Line 1 of the Caracas Metro.
La Chiquinquirá Church (Caracas)
La Chiquinquirá Church (Spanish: Iglesia La Chiquinquirá) is a church in Caracas, Venezuela. La Chiquinquirá Church is the largest Catholic church in Caracas, located in a fortress-like building with a high tower. The church contains some notable statues and paintings. The church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá.
Centro San Ignacio
Centro San Ignacio is a Venezuelan shopping mall and office complex, opened in September 1998. It won the recognition of Latin American contemporary architecture in the Mies van der Rohe Award that same year. It is located in La Castellana, Chacao municipality of Caracas, Venezuela. Its construction was carried out on the athletic fields adjacent to the San Ignacio Jesuit college, between early 1993 and late 1998. Currently is administered by Fondo de Valores Inmobiliarios.
