Anzoátegui
Anzoátegui State, is one of the 23 component states of Venezuela, located in the northeastern region of the country. Anzoátegui is well known for its beautiful beaches that attract many visitors. Its coast consists of a single beach approximately 100 km long. Its capital is the city of Barcelona, and significant cities include Puerto la Cruz and El Tigre.
Estadio José Antonio Anzoátegui
The Estadio Olímpico General José Antonio Anzoátegui before called Estadio Luis Ramos, is a stadium located in the Venezuelan city of Puerto La Cruz, in the state of Anzoátegui. It was opened on December 8, 1965 by the former president of Venezuela, Raúl Leoni. The old stadium that occupied the area was demolished and construction for a new stadium started from scratch. A modern stadium was needed to be a venue for the Copa America 2007 soccer tournament.

Estadio Alfonso Chico Carrasquel is a baseball stadium in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, home of Caribes de Anzoátegui. The stadium can seat 18,000 people and was originally built in 1959; rebuilt and opened in 1991 for professional baseball. It was named after former major league baseball player, Alfonso "Chico" Carrasquel.

The Juan Antonio Sotillo Municipality is one of the 21 municipalities that makes up the eastern Venezuelan state of Anzoátegui and, according to a 2007 population estimate by the National Institute of Statistics of Venezuela, the municipality has a population of 247,979. The town of Puerto La Cruz is the shire town of the Juan Antonio Sotillo Municipality. The municipality is named for the nineteenth century Venezuelan military leader Juan Antonio Sotillo.

They are located north of the State of Anzoategui, west of the Chimanas Islands, and northwest of the city of Puerto La Cruz. Under the 19 December 1973 Decree No. 1534, they belong to the Mochima National Park.

Islas Chimanas is a Caribbean archipelago of 7 islands belonging to Venezuela, located off northeastern Anzoategui state, east of the Borrachas Islands and north of the Bay of Guanta, just a few kilometers from the nearby city of Puerto La Cruz, whose special attraction based primarily on beautiful beaches and bays, from the 19 December 1973 under Decree No. 1534 belong to the Mochima National Park.
