The Alfred McCune Home is one of the mansions on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah, from around the turn of the 20th century. Built for Alfred W. McCune on the inclined south side of Capitol Hill at the northeast corner of 200 North and Main Street, the mansion has 21 rooms and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was built in 1900.
Woodruff-Riter-Stewart Home
The Woodruff-Riter-Stewart Home is a mansion on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah. It sits on the corner of State Street and 200 North on the south slope of Capitol Hill. Originally built for Edward D. Woodruff, a Union Pacific doctor who partnered a successful laundry business, the home was designed by architects Headlund and Wood and was finished in 1906. The home is an example of Renaissance architecture.
LDS Conference Center

City Creek (Utah)
City Creek is a small but historically important mountain stream that flows from City Creek Canyon and across part of Salt Lake City, Utah, and into the Jordan River which empties into the Great Salt Lake. City Creek's head is about 8 miles (13 km) up City Creek Canyon northeast of Downtown Salt Lake City. The entire stream measures only about 14.5 miles (23 km) long.
Mary Ann Angell
Mary Ann Angell Young (June 8, 1803–June 27, 1882) was the second woman married to Latter Day Saint leader Brigham Young. They were married on March 31, 1834. Young's first wife, Miriam Angeline Works, had died on September 8, 1832. With the permission of Mary, Young began practicing plural marriage in 1842 when he married Lucy Ann Decker. The daughter of James and Phoebe Morton Angell, she was born in Seneca, Ontario County, New York.
Ensign Peak
Ensign Peak is a peak in the foothills near downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It is approximately one mile north of the Utah State Capitol and sits almost directly behind it. On July 26, 1847, Brigham Young and other early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) climbed this hill and gave it its present name. The hill has religious significance in LDS Church history and in its symbolism.
Open Classroom Charter School of Salt Lake City
The Open Classroom (often referred to as "the O.C. ") is a K-8 charter school with a long history in Salt Lake City, Utah. It began as a private school and became a K-6 optional program of the Salt Lake City School District in 1977. In 2007, it became a district charter school and expanded to include a middle school and a pre-k program. It is not a part of the Open classroom educational movement of the 1970s. The O.C. is currently located in the former Lowell Elementary building.

The Church History Library in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah houses materials chronicling the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). This new building opened to the public on June 22, 2009.

Mormon Pioneer Memorial Monument
The Mormon Pioneer Memorial Monument (also known as the Brigham Young Cemetery) is a private cemetery and memorial. It was dedicated to the more than 6,000 Mormon pioneers who died making the journey to Utah from Illinois and other parts of the world between 1847 and 1869. It is the gravesite of Brigham Young, and his legal, non plural wife, Mary Ann Angell.
