Olympus High School
Olympus High School is a public high school in the Granite School District in Holladay, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. It opened on September 1, 1953 with an original enrollment of 1028 students.
Granite High School (Utah)
Granite High School was a public high school located at 3305 South 500 East in South Salt Lake, Utah. Granite opened in 1906. The first LDS seminary opened across the street from the school in 1912. In 2005-2006, the enrollment was 1250, but was reduced as the school transformed into an "academy" format. The academies within the school include the Young Parent program for teenage parents with children and the ESL program for new immigrants and refugees.

The Granite School District spreads across central Salt Lake County, Utah, serving West Valley City, Taylorsville, South Salt Lake, and Holladay; Kearns, Magna and Millcreek Township; and parts of West Jordan, Murray and Cottonwood Heights. About 67,000 students are enrolled in its programs ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade. It operates 8 high schools, 16 junior high schools, 62 elementary schools, as well as several specialty schools.
Ivy Baker Priest
Ivy Baker Priest (September 7, 1905 – June 23, 1975) was an American political figure. Born in Kimberly, Utah, she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Priest ran for Congress in Utah on the Republican ticket in 1934 and 1950, losing both times. However, she became nationally known by serving as Treasurer of the United States under President Dwight D. Eisenhower from January 28, 1953 to January 29, 1961, at which time her signature appeared on all U.S. currency.
Midwives College of Utah
The Midwives College of Utah, is an institution of direct-entry midwifery training. Founded in 1980, it has graduated over 95 midwives and has over 200 students. It has been accredited through the Midwifery Education Accreditation Council since 1996. The school is also accepted by the California Medical Board for the state licensure. The college offers an Associates of Science Midwifery, Bachelor of Science Midwifery and Master of Science Midwifery.
Sugar House Park
Sugar House Park, or Sugarhouse Park, is located between I-80, 2100 South, 1300 East, and 1700 East in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 110-acre park is at the heart of the Sugar House neighborhood and is the site of a fireworks show and concert every Independence Day of the United States (July 4th) and a popular sledding location in the winter. The park was the location of Sugar House Prison, Utah's first state prison, until 1951 when the current prison was opened in Draper, Utah.

Sugar House Prison, previously the Utah Territorial Penitentiary, was a prison in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. The 180-acre prison housed more than 400 inmates. It was closed in 1951 due to encroaching housing development, and all of its inmates were moved to the new Utah State Prison in Draper. The site is now occupied by Sugar House Park and Highland High School.

Amy Brown Lyman (February 7, 1872 – December 5, 1959) was the eighth general president of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1940 to 1945. Born in Pleasant Grove, Utah Territory, Amy Cassandra Brown was the 23rd of 25 children born to her polygamist father, John Brown.

Charles Zitting
Charles Frederick Zitting (March 30, 1884–July 14, 1954) was a Mormon fundamentalist leader of the community in Short Creek, Arizona. Zitting began his rise in the leadership of the Mormon fundamentalist Short Creek Community when he was arrested on April 1, 1931 on charges of polygamy and bailed out by Lorin C. Woolley, J. Leslie Broadbent, and Joseph W. Musser the next day.

Intermountain Medical Center is the largest hospital in the Intermountain West and the new flagship of Intermountain Healthcare. Located in Murray, Utah on a 100-acre site at the center of the Salt Lake Valley, Intermountain Medical Center serves as a major adult referral center for six surrounding states and more than 75 regional health care institutions. Intermountain Medical Center opened on Monday 29 October 2007 at 6:18 AM.
Columbus Center
One of South Salt Lake's most notable and unique buildings is the Columbus School Building (aka the Columbus Center) which currently serves as a community center. Located at 2531 South 400 East, the Columbus School building is not only a community landmark, but a vital gathering place as well. The grounds around the building resemble a plaza or garden type area landscaped with pathways, benches, statues, and various plants and trees.

Central Pointe (UTA station)
Central Pointe is a light rail station in South Salt Lake, Utah, United States serviced by all three lines of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. By the end of 2013, the Station will also be the western terminus for the Sugar House Streetcar. The Transit Police (UTA's Police Department) has its offices adjacent to Central Pointe.

Millcreek is a light rail station in South Salt Lake, Utah serviced by the Blue Line and the Red Line of the TRAX system. It is also the eastern terminus of the MAX bus rapid transit line. Located on 3300 South between West Temple and 300 West, it has connections to bus routes 33 and 35.
Meadowbrook (UTA station)
Meadowbrook is a light rail station in South Salt Lake, Utah (near the city's southern border with Millcreek Township) serviced by the Blue Line and the Red Line of the Trax system. J. E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School is a Catholic PK-8th Grade school in Salt Lake City, Utah and is associated with St Ambrose's Church. The school was founded in 1957. The principal of the school is Betsy Hunt. Father Andrew, a priest from Poland, and Jim Larson, middle school science/math teacher and seventh grade home room teacher, also help run the school. J. E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School was founded in 1957 by the Daughters of Charity.

Foothill, Salt Lake City
Foothill in Salt Lake City, Utah is a relatively affluent and primarily residential neighborhood of Salt Lake City that lies at the base of the Wasatch Range and extends west to approximately 1500 East. Also sometimes referred to as "The East Bench", it is bordered on the north by the Federal Heights neighborhood and on the south by Interstate 80. This neighborhood becomes increasingly affluent moving from west to east.
