Frontier is a city in Cass County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 214 at the 2010 census. Frontier is located south of the city of Fargo and is located roughly six miles southwest of that city's downtown. Frontier was founded in 1976.

Aakers Business College
Aakers College was a private two-year college with campuses in Fargo, North Dakota and Bismarck, North Dakota. In 2007, it merged with Rasmussen College and is now known as Rasmussen College. The school offers associate degrees and bachelor degrees in several fields. Aakers was originally founded in Fargo in 1902 and a second location was opened in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1905. The Fargo location was sold in 1912 and the Grand Forks location became the only Aakers for decades.

First opened for the 2000-2001 school year, it is named in honor of Vern Bennett, Fargo Public Schools superintendent from 1971-1999. The school serves kindergarten through fifth grade. It is managed by Fargo Public Schools, of which it is the fourth and newest high school. Davies High School serves grades 9 through 12. The school is named after Ronald Davies, a former North Dakota based federal judge best known for ordering the integration of Little Rock Central High during the civil rights crisis of the 1960s.
