Trommald is a village in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 98 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Brainerd Micropolitan Statistical Area. Trommald was founded as a mining town on the western end of the Cuyuna Range, just north of Ironton.

Manganese was a small village in Minnesota, United States. Located in Wolford Township in Crow Wing County, Manganese lies roughly 2 miles north of Trommald, Minnesota. Just off of County Road 34, it is perhaps best identified by its location between Coles Lake and Flynn Lake. First appearing in the 1920 census, the village was abandoned by 1960.
