The Ybor Channel is one of several channels for boat traffic in and around the Port of Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
Curtis Hixon Hall
Curtis Hixon Hall, located at 600 Ashley Drive, was an indoor sports arena, convention center, concert venue, and special events center built downtown beside the Hillsborough River in Tampa, Florida. It was built in 1964, opened in 1965, and torn down in 1993.
2002 Tampa plane crash
The 2002 Tampa plane crash was an incident that occurred on Saturday, January 5, 2002. The incident occurred when a high-school student of Eastlake High in Tarpon Springs, Florida, Charles J. Bishop, inspired by the September 11 attacks, stole a Cessna 172 and crashed it into the side of the Bank of America Tower in downtown Tampa, Florida. The impact killed the teenager and damaged an office room. There were no other injuries.

The Centro Asturiano is a historic site in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida. It is located at 1913 Nebraska Avenue. On July 24, 1974, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by Tampa architect M. Leo Elliott.
El Pasaje
The El Pasaje (also known as the Cherokee Club) is a historic site in Ybor City, Tampa, Florida. It was originally built in 1886 to house the offices for Vicente Martinez Ybor's companies as he planned Ybor City and then ran his cigar factory and other businesses. El Pasaje has been home to many establishments since: a hotel, several restaurants, several bars and speakeasies, a military recruiting station, and newspaper offices, among others.
Columbia Restaurant
The original Columbia Restaurant, located in the historic Ybor City neighborhood in Tampa, Florida, is the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida, the oldest Spanish restaurant in the United States and one of the largest Spanish restaurants in the world with 1,700 seats in 15 dining rooms taking up 52,000 ft² over an entire city block. Founded in 1905 in, the landmark is still owned by the Hernandez/Gonzmart family and serves Spanish and Cuban cuisine.
One Tampa City Center
One Tampa City Center is a skyscraper in Tampa, Florida. It was the tallest building in the state for 3 years and the tallest building in the city until the completion of the Bank of America tower in 1986. At 39 stories tall. It is currently the third tallest structure in the city. On November 13, 2012, it was announced that PNC Bank will replace Verizon as the corporate logo atop the building, beginning in May 2013.
Oaklawn Cemetery
Oaklawn Cemetery was Tampa, Florida's first public burial ground. The location was deeded in the mid-19th century. It was named as the final resting place for "White and Slave, Rich and Poor". The First Mayor of the City of Tampa Judge Joseph B. Lancaster is buried at Oaklawn. The 6th mayor, James McKay Sr. is also interred. Others include pirates, slaves, yellow-fever epidemic victims and confederate soldiers.
SunTrust Financial Centre
The SunTrust Financial Centre is a 525ft (160m) skyscraper in Tampa, Florida. It was completed in 1992 and has 36 floors. Cooper Carry designed the building, which is the 4th tallest in Tampa. It was designed to take a 110 mph wind load.
Centennial Park Station
Centennial Park is a TECO Line streetcar station in Tampa, Florida. The station has one track and one side platform on the north side of 8th Avenue. It is the first station on the streetcar and was the location of the opening ceremony of the first train. There is parking for the station just north.
Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union Station
Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union (also known as Federal Credit Union) is a TECO Line streetcar station in historic Ybor City. The station has one island platform, located on a passing siding, that allows for trams to pass by each other on the single track line. Just west of the stations, there are two pedestrian overpasses over 8th Avenue that are part of the Centro Ybor complex.
La Segunda Bakery
La Segunda Bakery is a historic purveyor of Cuban bread, pastries, and other baked goods in the Ybor City section of Tampa, Florida. It was one of three bakeries begun in co-op: La Primera, La Segunda and La Tercera. The other two folded and La Segunda was purchased by Juan Moré whose family has continued its operation for four generations.
