Third Battle of Kharkov
The Third Battle of Kharkov was a series of battles on the Eastern Front of World War II, undertaken by the German Army Group South against the Red Army, around the city of Kharkov between 19 February and 15 March 1943. Known to the Germans as the Donets Campaign, and to the Soviets as the Donbas and Kharkov operations, the German counterstrike led to the destruction of approximately 52 Soviet divisions and the recapture of the cities of Kharkov and Belgorod.
Metalist Oblast Sports Complex
"Metalist" Oblast Sports Complex (Ukrainian: Обласний спортивний комплекс «Металіст»), commonly known as Metalist Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It is currently used chiefly for football matches and is the home of FC Metalist Kharkiv. The stadium, which was a venue for Euro 2012, currently seats 40,003.
Prospekt Haharina (Kharkiv Metro)
The Prospekt Haharina or Prospekt Gagarina is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. Opened on August 23, 1975, it is located in the southern part of the city's center, at the beginning of the Prospekt Haharina street, for which the station is named, and near the Kharkiv-Levada Railway Station and the nearby autostation, which accounts for the station's fairly large passenger traffic. During the planning stage of the metro station, the station was to be called Levada.
Sportyvna (Kharkiv Metro)
The Sportyvna or Sportivnaya is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. The station was opened on August 23, 1975. It is located in the southwestern part of the city's center, beneath the Plechanivska Vulytsia and the Derzhavinska Vulytsia junction. The station received its name from the word sport, due to the neighbouring FC Metalist Kharkiv Stadium, the biggest in Kharkiv. During the planning stage the station was to be called Stadium.

Kharkiv International Airport (Ukrainian: Міжнародний аеропорт "Харків"), is an airport located in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The airport is the main airfield serving the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city. Located to the south-east of the city centre, in the city's Kominternivskyi district. The main terminal at Kharkiv was built in the 1950s in a socialist neo-classical style favoured by Joseph Stalin.

The National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTU "KhPI"), in the city of Kharkiv, is the largest and oldest technical university in eastern Ukraine. Founded in 1885, it is the second-oldest technical university in the Russian Empire and in the territory of modern Ukraine.

Drobytsky Yar
Drobytsky Yar is a ravine 8–12 km south east from Kharkiv, Ukraine. In December 1941, Nazi troops invading the Soviet Union began killing local inhabitants over the following year. At the end of this period, some 16,000 people, mainly Jews were killed. Notably on December 15, 1941, when the temperature was −15 degrees Celsius (+5 °F), ca. 15,000 Jews were shot. Children were thrown into pits alive, to save bullets, in expectation that they quickly freeze to death.
KhTZ Stadium
KhTZ stadium, which is located between "Maselskogo" and "Radyanskoyi Armiyi" Kharkiv Metro stations, serves as a home soil to rugby clubs RC Olуmp and RC TEX-A-C and is sometimes used for athletics tournaments of domestic importance. The stadium was built in Soviet times as a primary fitness centre for workers of the Kharkiv Tractor Plant.
Moskovskyi Prospekt (Kharkiv Metro)
Moskovskyi Prospekt is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. The station was the southern terminus of the line before 1978. It is located under the Moskovskyi Avenue.

Bezliudivka (or Bezludivka, or Bezlyudivka, or Bezlyudovka. Ukrainian: Безлюдівка; Russian: Безлюдовка) is an urban-type settlement located in the Kharkiv Oblast of eastern Ukraine. Situated on the river Udy, 3 km south of Kharkiv, 3 km from the railway station Bezlyudivka. The current population is 9,693 (as of 2001).

Construction on the station began on April 16, 1977, and the station was opened on August 10, 1984, which made it the eighth station of the Saltivska Line. It is located in Kharkiv's city center, beneath the intersection of the "Petrovskoho" and "Pushkinska" streets, for which the station is named. The Pushkinska station lies more than 30 metres underground which makes it the deepest station of the Kharkiv Metro system.
