El Rosario, Tenerife
El Rosario is a municipality of the northeastern part of the island of Tenerife in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife province, on the Canary Islands. The city is also a suburban area of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife area. The seat of the municipality is La Esperanza, located in the mountains to the west. The population is 15,542, its density is 390.99/km² and the area is 39.42 km².

El Sauzal is located on the north coast of Tenerife 19 to 20 km E of Puerto de la Cruz, about 20 km SSW of the island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, NE of Los Cristianos and Las Américas of Arona and WSW of Tenerife North Airport.
