Devil's Peak (Cape Town)
Devil's Peak is part of the mountainous backdrop to Cape Town, South Africa. When looking at Table Mountain from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, or when looking at the standard picture postcard view of the mountain, the skyline is from left to right: the spire of Devil's Peak, the flat mesa of Table Mountain, the dome of Lion's Head and Signal Hill. The central districts of Cape Town are nestled within this natural amphitheatre.

Smuts Hall
Smuts Hall is a men's residence on the upper campus of the University of Cape Town. It was named after Field Marshal The Rt. Hon. Jan Smuts. It provides housing for around 240 students. The hall was constructed as part of the first phase of the University of Cape Town's Groote Schuur Campus. The other buildings included Jameson Hall, the Arts Block, the Mathematics Building and the women's residence Fuller Hall. The group of buildings have been declared national monuments.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Kirstenbosch is the name of a famous botanical garden nestled at the foot of Table Mountain in Cape Town. (It is on the eastern slopes of the mountain, not on the northern side normally depicted in the standard tourist snapshots). (Kirstenbosch should not be confused with the similarly named suburb of Kirstenhof which lies some 10 km to the south. ) The garden is one of nine National Botanical Gardens covering five of South Africa's six different biomes.

Newlands Stadium, currently referred to as DHL Newlands for sponsorship reasons, is located in Cape Town, South Africa. The stadium currently has a capacity of 51,900 people, but is not an all seater venue. Various sports teams currently use the stadium as their home base, including: Stormers in Super Rugby Western Province in the Currie Cup The city's 2 Premier Soccer League clubs: Ajax Cape Town Santos also, occasionally host matches at the stadium.
South African College Schools
The South African College Schools, commonly referred to as SACS, is a primary and secondary education institution located in Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in 1829, it is the second oldest school in South Africa, behind Muir College of Uitenhage which was founded in 1822, and one of four schools expressly named by Cecil John Rhodes to offer an annual Rhodes Scholarship to one of its graduating students.
Groote Schuur
Groote Schuur (Dutch for "big barn") is an estate in Cape Town, South Africa. In 1657, the estate was a plot of land owned by the Dutch East India Company which later became a farm and farmhouse in private hands. Cecil Rhodes took out a lease on the house in 1891. He later bought it in 1893 for £60 000, and had it converted and refurbished by the architect Sir Herbert Baker.
Newlands Cricket Ground
Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town is a South African cricket ground. It is the home of the Cape Cobras, who play in the SuperSport Series, MTN Domestic Championship and Standard Bank Pro20 competitions. It is also a venue for Test matches. Newlands is regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the world, being overlooked by Table Mountain and Devil's Peak. It is close to Newlands Stadium, which is a rugby union and football venue.
Saint James Church massacre
The Saint James Church massacre was a massacre perpetrated on St James Church in Kenilworth, Cape Town on 25 July 1993 by four cadres of the Azanian People's Liberation Army (APLA). 11 members of the congregation were killed and 58 wounded. In 1998 the attackers were granted amnesty for their participation by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Waterworks Museum
The Waterworks Museum is located on the northern side of Table Mountain, between the Woodhead and Hely-Hutchinson Reservoirs, in Cape Town, South Africa. The museum was founded in 1972 by Terence Timoney, a retired waterworks engineer. The museum houses a display of memorabilia from the construction of the dams on Table Mountain which include a beautifully restored narrow gauge steam engine.

Wynberg Girls' High School is a public school for girls in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Founded in 1884, Wynberg Girls High School is one of the oldest all-girls schools in South Africa. The first headmistress, Miss Margaret Stewart, was supported by two teachers and catered to 27 pupils. Initially a co-educational school, WGHS soon became an all-girls school and was known as Ladies' Seminary.

Newlands Forest
Newlands Forest is a conservancy area on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, beside the suburb of Newlands, Cape Town. It is owned and maintained by the Table Mountain National Parks Board, along with the City Parks Department of Cape Town, and includes a Fire Station, Nursery and Reservoir. The forest itself is a popular walking and jogging destination (See trail map below), close and easily accessible from the city's southern suburbs.

UCT Radio is a campus radio station operated by students of the University of Cape Town (UCT) in Cape Town, South Africa. UCT Radio broadcasts on the 104.5 MHz frequency from a 20 watt transmitter located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:33|57|30|S|18|27|45|E| | |name= }}. According to the Radio Audience Measurement Survey, as of June 2010 UCT Radio had a weekly listenership of 30 000 people.
