Fredrikstad fortress (Fredrikstad festning) was a fortification in Fredrikstad, Norway. It was the base of the Østfold Regiment, with defence related responsibilities for the east side of Oslo Fjord.
Alshus
Alshus is a village in the municipality of Fredrikstad, Norway, situated on the island and former municipality of Kråkerøy. Its population is 1,019. Alshus is placed at the eastern coast of Kråkerøy (directly translated to Crow Island), lying next to Kallera and Femdal. Kråkerøy
Kråkerøy is an island and a former municipality in Østfold county, Norway. The island of Kråkerøy was separated from Glemmen as a municipality of its own January 1, 1908. At that time Kråkerøy had a population of 3,311. The rural municipality was merged with the city of Fredrikstad January 1, 1994. Prior to the merger Kråkerøy had a population of 7,445.

Fredrikstad Stadion is a multi-use/football stadium in the Norwegian city of Fredrikstad. It is the home of the Norwegian Premier League team Fredrikstad FK. It's located in an area which formerly used to be a large shipyard (locally known as Værste or FMV), but which nowadays is the technological centre of the city, with several companies and a college. The frontage of the stadium is built to replicate the original halls of the work shop. This makes it architecturally unique.

The Fredrikstad Bridge is an arch bridge in the Norwegian city of Fredrikstad. It crosses the river Glomma, and connects the western and eastern parts of the city. The bridge is 824 metres long, with a main span of 196 metres. The sailing height is 39,5 metres. The bridge was opened August 18, 1957, by the then crown prince Olav.
