Bogyoke Aung San Stadium

Bogyoke Aung San Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium, located in downtown Yangon, Myanmar. Named after Gen. Aung San, the 40,000 seat stadium is still the largest stadium in Myanmar and was the national stadium until mid-1980s. The stadium was the main venue for 1961 and 1969 South East Asian Peninsular Games. While it is no longer the main venue of choice for international level competitions, the stadium is still heavily used for Myanmar National League football matches.

Shri Kali Temple, Burma

Shri Kali Temple is a Hindu temple located in the undefined Little India in downtown Yangon, Burma. It was built by Tamil migrants whilst Burma Province was part of British India. Botataung Pagoda

The Botataung Pagoda (also spelled Botahtaung; literally "1000 military officers") is a famous pagoda located in downtown Yangon, Myanmar, near the Yangon river. The pagoda was first built by the Mon around the same time as was Shwedagon Pagoda—according to local belief, over 2500 years ago, and was known as Kyaik-de-att in Mon language. The pagoda is hollow within, and houses what is believed to be a sacred hair of Gautama Buddha.

Supreme Court of Burma

Kandawgyi Lake

Kandawgyi Lake (literally "great royal lake", formerly Royal Lake), is one of two major lakes in Yangon, Burma (Myanmar). Located east of the Shwedagon Pagoda, the lake is artificial; water from Inya Lake is channelled through a series of pipes to Kandawgyi Lake. It was created to provide a clean water supply to the city during the British colonial administration. It is approximately 5 miles (8 km) in circumference, and has a depth of 20 to 45 inches (50 to 115 cms).

Yangon City Hall

Yangon City Hall is the city hall of Yangon, the largest city of Burma, and the seat of the city's administrative body, Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC). Karaweik

Karaweik or Karaweik Hall is a palace on the eastern shore of Kandawgyi Lake, Yangon, Burma. The barge was designed by Burmese architect U Ngwe Hlaing, who based it on the Pyigyimon royal barge. Construction began in June 1972 and it was finished in October 1974. The barge is a two-storied construction of concerete and stucco, reinforced by iron rods, with a pyatthat-topped roof, and two reception halls and a conference room. It houses a buffet restaurant today.

Holy Trinity Cathedral, Yangon

Holy Trinity Cathedral is the primary Anglican cathedral in Myanmar (Burma), located on Bogyoke Aung San Road in Latha Township, Yangon. The cathedral was designed by Robert Chisholm, a Madras-based architect, in the Indo-Saracenic style to adapt to warm and humid conditions.
