Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi
Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi is a rural district located in southeastern Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. As of July 2012, the district had an estimated population of 48,832 and a population density of 116 persons per km². The total area was 420.78 km². The district formerly included the cities of Fujiyoshida, Tsuru and a portion of the city of Uenohara. Lake Kawaguchi
is located in Fujikawaguchiko, southern Yamanashi Prefecture near Mount Fuji, Japan. It is the second largest of the Fuji Five Lakes in terms of surface area, and is located at the lowest elevation. It is situated at an altitude of approximately 800 metres, which accounts for its relatively cool summers and frequently icy winters. It also has the longest shoreline of any of the Fuji Five Lakes. The lake is within the borders of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.

When Fujiyama opened in 1996 it was the world's tallest roller coaster at 259 feet, and had the largest drop in the world at 230 feet . Fujiyama was also the world's fastest roller coaster for a year of its operation, succeeded by Tower of Terror at Dreamworld theme park in Queensland, Australia in 1997.

Fuji-Q Highland is an amusement park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. The theme park is near the base of Mount Fuji. It has a number of roller coasters, as well as The Haunted Hospital, the world's second largest haunted attraction, and Thomas Land, a children's area with a Thomas the Tank Engine theme. Other attractions are themed to Gundam and Evangelion.
Eejanaika (roller coaster)
is a steel 4th Dimension roller coaster at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. The ride is the world's second 4th Dimension coaster, the first being X (now X²) at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, United States. Eejanaika is the taller, faster, and longer of the two. Eejanaika, designed by S&S Arrow, is a "4th Dimension" coaster, a design in which the seats can rotate forward or backward 360 degrees in a controlled spin.
Tenjō-Yama Park Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway
The Tenjō-Yama Park Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway, officially the Lake Kawaguchi Mt. Tenjō Ropeway, is a Japanese aerial lift line in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, operated by Fuji Kyuko. Opened in 1959, the line climbs Mount Tenjō from the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. The line name comes from Kachi-kachi Yama (lit. "Mt. Kachikachi"), a folktale which took place on the mountain. The observatory has a view of the lake, as well as Aokigahara forest, and Mount Fuji.
Takabisha
is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter steel roller coaster located at the Fuji-Q Highland theme park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. It is famous for having a drop angle of 121° – the steepest coaster in the world. The Japanese name Takabisha translates to "high-handed" or "domineering" in English. The name is a pun, in that the three kanji in the name literally mean "high fly car".
