Abe River
The Abe River is a river in Shizuoka Prefecture of central Japan. It is 53.3 kilometres long and has a watershed of 567 square kilometres . The river rises from Akaishi Mountains which stretch over the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefectures, and flows into Suruga Bay in the Pacific Ocean). It is known for its clear stream and forms part of the main water supply for Shizuoka city.

The remains there date to the 1st century CE, in the late Yayoi period, and was an administrative unit of the area. Discovered in 1943, it was excavated in 1947–48 and designated a Special Historic Site of Japan in 1952. Toro is also the name of the area surrounding it in the Japanese addressing system.

Shizuhatagayama Kofun
Shizuhatagayama Kofun is a circular kofun burial mound located within the grounds of the Shizuoka Sengen Shrine complex in Aoi-ku, Shizuoka, Japan. It is protected by the central government as a National Historic Site. Located on the hilltop immediately behind the Honden of the Ohtoshimioya Shrine, the burial mound has a horizontal chamber of cut stones, surmounted by a stone dome, approximately seven meters in diameter.
