Enoshima
Enoshima is a small island, about 4 km in circumference, at the mouth of the Katase River, which flows into Sagami Bay in Japan. Part of the city of Fujisawa, it is linked to the Katase section of the same city on the mainland by a 600 meter-long bridge. Adjacent to some of the closest beaches to Tokyo and Yokohama, the island and the nearby coast are the hub of a local resort area.
Katase River
The Katase River is a segment of a river in Shonan, central Japan, about 50 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. The Katase is an approximately 3-kilometer-long segment of the river from Kawana (川名), Fujisawa, where the Sakai River (境川) and Kashio River join, to a point at Enoshima Island, where the river flows into Sagami Bay. The river's name refers to the Katase hills (片瀬山) along which the river flows.
Kashio River
The Kashio River is a Class II river in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, about 50 kilometers southwest of Tokyo. It begins in Kashio, Totsuka-ku, Yokohama at the confluence of the Akuwa River (阿久和川) and the Hiradonagaya River (平戸永谷川) and flows for 11 kilometers to the city of Fujisawa, where it merges with the Sakai River (境川) at the confluence known as Kawana (川名). The conjoined river, which is then known as the Katase River, then flows into Sagami Bay at Enoshima Island.

It is 59.9 rail kilometers from the northern terminus of the Odakyu Railway at Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. It is also within walking distance the Enoshima Station of Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) and the Shonan-Enoshima Station of the Shonan Monorail.

Samuel Cocking Garden
The Samuel Cocking Garden, also known as the Enoshima Tropical Plants Garden, is a small botanical garden on the small island of Enoshima in Japan. The address is 2-3-28 Enoshima, Fujisawa, Kanagawa. It is open daily; an admission fee is charged. The garden was established in 1880 by British merchant Samuel Cocking (1842-1914) as the Enoshima Botanical Garden, and featured a greenhouse (660 m²) in which he collected tropical plants.
Inamuragasaki
is a cape at the western end of Yuigahama (Beach) in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The cape divides Yuigahama from Shichirigahama (Beach) and Enoshima. Its name seems to stem from its shape, similar to a stack of rice at harvest time (an inamura). At its foot on the Shichirigahama side there is a park, the Inamuragasaki Park .
Shichirigahama
Shichirigahama is a beach near Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, which goes from Koyurigimisaki Cape, near Fujisawa, to Inamuragasaki Cape, west of Kamakura. Since from it one could enjoy a clear view of both Mount Fuji and Enoshima at the same time, during the Edo period it was popular as a subject for ukiyo-e. For example, famous ukiyo-e artists Hiroshige and Hokusai both include it in their 36 Views of Mount Fuji.
Koshigoe
is a part of the municipality of Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, located at the western end of the beach of Shichirigahama, near Fujisawa. The name seems to stem from the fact it was founded by people who crossed ("goe") the base ("koshi") of the mountains to reach the fertile plains near the sea.
Ryūkō-ji (Fujisawa)
is a temple of the Nichiren Shū in the city of Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It stands on the site of the former Tatsukuchi (or Tatsunokuchi) Execution Grounds, and its name uses the same two kanji meaning "dragon mouth"(龍口). It was here that Nichiren, namesake of the Buddhist sect, was to have been executed. It was founded in 1337 by Nippō, a disciple of Nichiren. Major buildings at the temple include the Hondō, a five-story pagoda, a stupa (sharitō), and the Shichimendō.
