Ikuta Shrine
Ikuta Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the Chūō Ward of Kobe, Japan, and is possibly among the oldest shrines in the country. According to Nihon Shoki, it was founded by the Empress Jingū at the beginning of the 3rd century AD to enshrine the kami Wakahirume, and was used as the base for a festival welcoming warriors back from the latest attempt to invade Korea.
Kobe Luminarie
Kobe Luminarie is a light festival held in Kobe, Japan, every December since 1995 to commemorate the Great Hanshin earthquake of that year. The lights were donated by the Italian Government and the installation itself is produced by Valerio Festi and Hirokazu Imaoka. Over 200,000 individually hand painted lights are lit each year with electricity generated from biomass in order to stay environmentally friendly. Last year, Kobe held its 18th luminarie festival.

Ijinkan districts exist in other locales, but due to war and natural disasters, these districts are not as well preserved.
Kobe Mosque
, also known as Kobe Muslim Mosque, was founded in October, 1935 in Kobe and is Japan's first mosque. Its construction was funded by donations collected by the Islamic Committee of Kobe from 1928 until its opening in 1935. The mosque was confiscated by the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1943. However, it continues to function as mosque today. It is located in the Kitano-cho foreign district of Kobe.
Kobe Regatta & Athletic Club
The Kobe Regatta & Athletic Club, was founded on September 23, 1870 by Alexander Cameron Sim, and is Japan's oldest sports club. The Club moved to a newly manufactured building at the end of 1870 and held its first-ever regatta on December 24, of that same year.
Sannomiya Station (JR West)
is a railway station located in Nunobiki-chō, Chūō Ward, Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, and is operated by the West Japan Railway Company. The station is on the JR Kobe Line which runs between Osaka Station and Himeji Station; part of the Tōkaidō Main Line. As a part of the JR West Urban Network, the following IC cards are accepted: ICOCA, Suica, PiTaPa, TOICA, and SUGOCA. Sannomiya Station is the main terminal for Kobe. Just to the east is where Kobe Station was established.

Kobe City Museum
Kobe City Museum opened in Kobe, Japan in 1982. It is one of Japan's many museums which are supported by a municipality. The museum combines two previous collections, the Municipal Archaeological Art Museum and Municipal Namban Art Museum. The museum is housed in a neoclassical building built in 1935, the former Kobe branch of the Bank of Tokyo.
