Jack Lynch Tunnel
The Jack Lynch Tunnel is an immersed tube tunnel and an integral part of the N40 southern ring road of Cork in Ireland. It is named after former Taoiseach, Jack Lynch, a native of Cork. It takes the road under the River Lee. North of the tunnel, the ring-road joins the M8 motorway to Dublin (north) and N8 road to the city centre (west), with the N25 commencing east to Waterford. The tunnel was completed in May 1999, and carries nearly 40,000 vehicles per day as of 2005.

Douglas Community School, also known as Douglas Com, The Com or DCS, is an all-boys community school in Douglas, Cork, Ireland. It was founded as Coláiste Muire by the Presentation Brothers in 1926 as a juniorate (i.e. for lower-cycle secondary students). In 1965 it became a full secondary school. In 1974, it became one of the first "community schools" in Ireland, when it was transferred by the Presentation Brothers to a local board of management.

Live at the Marquee (festival)
Live at the Marquee is an annual music festival which takes place in Cork, Ireland during the summer, usually over multiple days in June and July. The first event occurred in 2005 when Cork was the official European Capital of Culture. It was then decided to continue with the event in the years that followed. In 2007 the event was relocated from Monahan Road to the Docklands on Centre Park Road in Cork.

St. Michaels G.F.C. is a Gaelic football club in Cork City, Ireland. The club was formed in 1951 after a discourse in the Leaping Salmon bar in Blackrock near Cork. At that time some of the Blackrock hurlers played football with different city teams and it was thought a good idea to enter a football team from Blackrock, thus keeping the players together. A formal meeting was held and St Michael's Gaelic Football Club was born.
Blackrock Castle
Blackrock Castle, formerly Mahon Castle, is a 16th century castle located about 2 km from the heart of Cork city, Ireland on the banks of the River Lee. The "Cosmos at the Castle" project is a centre for scientific research, outreach and communication. The project is a joint venture between Cork City Council, Cork Institute of Technology and a private benefactor. A unique feature of the facility is the manner in which children and adults are encouraged to interact with science.

It began as a small fishing village about five kilometres from Cork City but the growth of the city has meant the village became incorporated into the city. Montenotte, Cork
Montenotte is an area in the north-east of Cork City, Ireland, which had an influx of wealthier merchants and the prosperous middle classes in the early to mid-19th century. Situated on a hill facing south over the River Lee, Montenotte acquired numerous substantial residences, some of them set in miniature estates graced with fine terraced gardens. Its favourable outlook was downgraded by the development of large-scale industry in the Marina area across the river in the early 20th century.
Kennedy Park (Cork, Ireland)
Kennedy Park is a local park in Cork, Ireland, so called after the visit of USA President John F. Kennedy on 28 June 1963. It is situated between Victoria Road and Monahan Road in Cork. The Park is more fondly known as 'Da Boggy' due to its proximity to the Boggy Road. In its prime the park hosted a variety of amusements for kids including, swings, slides and monkey bars but due to misuse and neglect these were eventually removed.

Dunkettle Interchange
The Dunkettle Interchange is a major road junction in east Cork City, Ireland forming a junction between the M8, N25 and the N40. The junction is currently a 4 arm signalised junction with a flyover, allowing traffic travelling in an east-west direction and vica-versa to avoid having to use the roundabout. On average, 95,000 vehicles use the junction on a daily basis.
Arbutus Lodge
Arbutus Lodge is a former restaurant and hotel located in Cork in County Cork, Ireland. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the periode 1974-1983, 1987 and 1988. The Egon Ronay Guide awarded the restaurant one star in the period 1975-1978, 1983 and 1987. It was awarded two stars in the period 1979-1981 and 1984-1985. In 1982 it was awarded the highest possible ranking with three stars.
Tramore Valley Park
Tramore Valley Park is a planned park on the southside of Cork in Ireland. It is planned to have an area of 160 acres and the site is located on the city's previous landfill. The park is planned to be triangular in shape, bounded on the south by the South Ring Road on the north-west by the South Link Road and on the north-east by the housing estates off the South Douglas Road. Neighbouring suburbs include Douglas, Turner's Cross, Ballyphehane, Frankfield and Grange.
