Estádio Eládio de Barros Carvalho, also known as Estádio dos Aflitos, is a football (soccer) stadium located in Recife, Brazil. The stadium was built in 1939 and is able to hold 20,000 people. Estádio dos Aflitos is owned by Clube Náutico Capibaribe. The stadium is named after Eládio de Barros Carvalho, who was Náutico's president fourteen times. Aflitos is nicknamed this way because it is located in Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos neighborhood.
Cabo de Santo Agostinho
Cabo de Santo Agostinho (Cape of Saint Augustine) is 35 km south of the city of Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. Although the official Portuguese discovery of Brazil was by Pedro Álvares Cabral on April 21, 1500, some historians believe that Vicente Yáñez Pinzón already had set anchor in a bay in Cabo de Santo Agostinho on January 26, 1500, which he named Cabo de Santa María de la Consolación. It was incorporated as a town in 1811.

Jaboatão dos Guararapes is a city in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It is a part of the Recife metro area. The population was 687,688 according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in 2009, making it the second most-populous city in the state of Pernambuco and the 26th in Brazil, ahead of major Brazilian state capitals such as Cuiabá and Aracaju. The city is a very important industrial center, hosting companies like Unilever and Coca-Cola.
Boa Viagem, Recife
Boa Viagem is a neighborhood in the city of Recife, Pernambuco in the privileged southern zone of the town. The neighborhood has one of the most visited beaches in Northeastern Brazil, Boa Viagem beach. Thousands regularly gather on its wide sandy beaches that stretch for 8 km (5 mi). This is the longest stretch of urbanized seafront in Brazil; its coastal reef calms the waves and helps keep the water at 25°C (77ºF). Pina, Recife and Piedade, Jaboatão are the neighboring beaches.
Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue
Kahal Zur Israel, located in Recife, Brazil, was the first Jewish congregation in the New World. It was established by immigrants from the Netherlands and joined by New Christians who were already living in the colony. There is now a museum on this site of the oldest synagogue site in the Americas.
Santa Isabel Theater

Moreno is a city in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. It's integrated in the Recife metropolitan area with another 13 cities. Moreno has a total area of 195.6 square kilometers and had an estimated population of 55,659 inhabitants in 2009 according with IBGE.
Arena Cidade da Copa
Arena Cidade da Copa or Arena Pernambuco is a new multi-use stadium in the Western suburbs of the Recife metropolitan area, Brazil, that is currently in the building stages. Once completed, it will be used mostly for football matches and will be used to host matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The stadium will have a capacity of 46,160 people.
Malakoff Tower
Malakoff Tower is a tower located in Recife Antigo, Recife. This monument was built between 1835 and 1855 to be used as an observatory and as the main entrance and gateway for Arsenal da Marinha (Navy Arsenals) square. It has been registered as a Historical Patrimony and was named after a similar monument on the Crimean peninsula, used as a defense center for Sevastopol on the Crimean war.

Ginásio de Esportes Geraldo Magalhães, also known as the Geraldão, is an indoor sporting arena located in Recife, Brazil. The capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and opened in 1970. It hosts indoor sporting events such as basketball and volleyball, and also hosts concerts.

Noar Linhas Aéreas Flight 4896
Noar Linhas Aéreas Flight 4896 was a passenger flight which crashed in Boa Viagem, Recife, Brazil, on 13 July 2011. All 16 aboard died. The aircraft involved, a Let L-410UVP-E20, was operating Noar Linhas Aéreas's domestic scheduled service from Recife Airport to Mossoró Airport via Natal. Shortly after take-off, a mayday was issued and the crew indicated their intention to land on the beach at Boa Viagem.
