D'Aguilar National Park
D'Aguilar is a national park in Queensland, Australia, 31 km northwest of Brisbane. The southern part of the park was formerly known as Brisbane Forest Park, while the northern part of the park is at Mount Mee. The park contains expanses of eucalypt woodland, sheltered pockets of subtropical rainforest, remote gorges and spectacular views to Moreton Bay and the Glass House Mountains. The popular Walkabout Creek Visitor Centre is located at the edge of the park.
Division of Dickson
The Division of Dickson is an Australian Electoral Division in Queensland, Australia. The division was formed in 1992 and is named after Sir James Dickson, a leading advocate in Australian Federation, Premier of Queensland and Minister for Defence in first Australian Ministry. It is located in the outer north-western suburbs of Brisbane, including Albany Creek, Kallangur and Strathpine. The 2006 redistribution added the Shire of Esk to and removed part of Kallangur from the district.
Division of Ryan

The Camp Mountain rail accident occurred at approximately 9:48am on 5 May 1947 when a crowded picnic train derailed on a sharp left-hand curve between Ferny Grove and Camp Mountain stations on the now-closed Dayboro line, approximately 15 km northwest of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia.
Mount Nebo (Queensland)
Mount Nebo is a mountain approximately 28 km north of the Brisbane suburb of The Gap in Queensland, Australia. It is part of the D'Aguilar Range which includes other mountains such as Mount Pleasant, Mount Glorious and Mount Mee. The town of Mount Nebo is named after the mountain on which it is located. The mountain is the source of Enoggera Creek.
Mount Glorious
Mount Glorious in Queensland is a mountain which is part of the D'Aguilar Range and is a suburb in Moreton Bay Region roughly 30 km north west of Brisbane. Five blocks on the mountain were made available early in the 20th century, with the first block being bought by James O'Hara in 1903. The forest that surrounds the mountain village is part of Brisbane Forest Park and the D'Aguilar National Park. Other mountains in the D'Aguilar Range include Mount Nebo, Mount Pleasant and Mount Mee.
Brisbane Forest Park
Brisbane Forest Park (now officially the southern part of D'Aguilar National Park), is located on parts of the D'Aguilar Range. The large nature reserve lies on the western boundary of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, in Enoggera Reservoir, adjacent to The Gap and between the Mount Coot-tha Reserve on the Taylor Range and higher peaks to the north. Brisbane Forest Park supports plants and animals and is essential to their survival.

Enoggera Reservoir, Queensland
Enoggera Reservoir is an outer suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, which is located 8 kilometres north-west of the CBD and bordering the Moreton Bay Region and The Gap. It contains Peewee Bend. The Enoggera Reservoir suburb is named after the Enoggera Reservoir Dam. As of 12 February 2011, sufficient water inflows returned the reservoir to usable levels, and water is now used to supply neighbouring suburbs.
Camp Mountain, Queensland
Camp Mountain is a rural locality northwest of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, near Samford. It is 20 km north-west of the Brisbane central business district. Parts of it are within the Brisbane Forest Park and a lookout and recreation area is accessible off Mount Nebo Road. Fernvale, Queensland
Fernvale is a small town in South East Queensland, Australia. Approximately 60 kilometres west of Brisbane, it lies on the Brisbane River, at the southern end of the region of Somerset. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics at the 2011 Australian Census Fernvale had an estimated population of 2,367. It is a rapidly developing rural township located within the urban footprint of the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009–2031.
Mount Crosby Pumping Station
The Mount Crosby Pumping Station is located on the Brisbane River at Chuwar in the City of Ipswich. The facility supplies water to Brisbane and nearby cities and towns within the SEQ Water Grid. The pumping station is close to the Mount Crosby Weir and now occupies book banks of the river. Most of the water treated is sourced Lake Wivenhoe, though some is also from Lake Manchester. There are two intakes pipes, one on each bank.
Gold Creek Dam
Gold Creek Dam is an earthen dam located on the edge of Brisbane Forest Park on the western outskirts of Brisbane, Australia. The dam holds back Gold Creek Reservoir. It is common in Australia to refer to a reservoir as a dam so the reservoir is often referred to as Gold Creek Dam. The dam was built on Gold Creek, a tributary of Moggill Creek, to augment supplies from the recently completed Enoggera Dam.
Lake Manchester Dam
Lake Manchester is built on Cabbage Tree Creek in the suburb of the same name, not far above its confluence with the Brisbane River in South East Queensland, Australia. The dam wall is a concrete gravity-section type. Its original purpose was to supplement supplies when the flow of the Brisbane River was low. Today it is one of a number of dams connected to the South East Queensland Water Grid. The dam is owned by Seqwater.

Mount Crosby Weir
The Mount Crosby Weir is weir on the Brisbane River at Mount Crosby in South East Queensland, Australia. The project was instigated by John Petrie at the end of the 19th century. The town of Brisbane was expanding and seeking more reliable sources of drinking water than Enoggera Dam and Gold Creek Dam could provide. The location was selected because it was just above the upstream tidal flow of seawater at Colleges Crossing. The concrete structure was completed in April 1892.
Kobble Creek, Queensland
Kobble Creek is a locality within the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland, Australia. Kobble Creek, the locality, is situated along Mount Samson Road to the south of Dayboro, approximately 45 km NW of Brisbane central business district. The locality is named after the creek with that forms part of the catchment area of Lake Samsonvale, one of the three main water-suppliers to the metropolitan region.
