Mansfield, Queensland
Mansfield is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia, situated approximately 11 kilometres south-east of the CBD. It is located in the region of the city which is now colloquially known as the "Bible Belt" due to the large number of people who have settled there to be close to Fundamentalist Christian schools and churches. It was named in 1967, after the Queensland governor of the time Sir Alan Mansfield. The suburb recorded a population of 8,473 at the 2011 Australian Census.
Redeemer Lutheran College
Redeemer Lutheran College is a co-educational Lutheran primary and secondary school in Rochedale, Brisbane, Queensland. Founded in the early 1980s by Robin Kleinschmidt and other leading Lutherans in the south of Brisbane, the College currently educates students from years Prep to 12, with Prep–5 currently without permanent buildings pending council approval to commence construction. The current head of college is David Radke, who has been in this position since 2009.
Mansfield State High School
Mansfield State High School is a co-educational government secondary school of approximately 1700 students. It is located in Mansfield, a suburb in the south of Brisbane, Australia. Opened in 1974, the school in more recent years has become known for its exceptional music, information technology, and french immersion programs. The previous principal, Murray Kay, joined the school in 1990, the same year that the French Immersion program began.
Upper Mount Gravatt, Queensland
Upper Mount Gravatt is a suburb in Brisbane, to the south of Mount Gravatt. It has increasingly become an important centre in the last 15 years. In terms of infrastructure, Logan Road and the Pacific Motorway run through it, in addition to the South-East Busway. Mackenzie, Queensland
Mackenzie is a small suburb located in the south-east of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This is an "out-back" suburb containing no large or small shopping centres. The area is partially covered by undeveloped bushland. Mount Petrie is located in Mackenzie. There are two churches, one school, Mount Petrie State School and a single petrol station located in Mackenzie. A number of residential estates with hundreds of new houses have been built in this suburb in the last decade.
Sleeman Centre (Brisbane)
The Sleeman Centre (also known as the Sleeman Sports Complex) is a sporting and entertainment facility located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Construction of the centre was completed in 1982, with several upgrades and improvements having been carried out since that date. Located in the suburb of Chandler, the centre is 15 km south of Brisbane's CBD and is home to an aquatic centre, velodrome, sports arena, gymnastics training hall, gymnasium and auditorium.
Eight Mile Plains busway station
The Eight Mile Plains Busway Station, at Eight Mile Plains, is part of the South East Busway serviced by TransLink bus routes. It is currently the last station on the South East Busway, and is connected to the Springwood Bus Station by the Pacific Motorway used by Logan City Bus Service. It is in Zone 4 of the TransLink integrated public transport system.
Upper Mount Gravatt busway station
The Upper Mount Gravatt Busway Station, at Upper Mount Gravatt, is part of the South East Busway serviced by TransLink bus routes. It is beneath the existing bus interchange at Westfield Garden City and is heavily patronised. It opened to services at the end of April 2001. It is in a transition precinct between Zone 3 and Zone 4 of the TransLink integrated public transport system.
Carindale bus station
The Carindale Bus Station, at Westfield Carindale, is serviced by TransLink bus routes. It is in Zone 3 of the TransLink integrated public transport system. The station serves as a regional transport hub with services connecting to many major destinations including Brisbane City, Redland City, Brisbane Airport (DFO), the University of Queensland and Griffith University.
Brisbane Adventist College
Brisbane Adventist College is a Preschool to Year 12 independent school with two campuses located in the Brisbane suburbs of Mansfield (primary school) and Wishart (secondary school). It is part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church education system. Brisbane Adventist College started as a Primary School in 1966. The Primary School was one of the first established in the Mt Gravatt area. A Secondary School was established in 1972 along Wishart Road.
Burbank, Queensland
Burbank is a large, greenbelt suburb in south-east Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The suburb was named after Frank Burbank, a local horse dealer. Mount Petrie lies just to the north of the suburb. Burbank has a number of small intermittent creeks winding between cleared and uncleared rolling hills. The main road across the suburb is the Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road. There are also a couple of working and hobby farms in the suburb.

Westfield Carindale is a shopping centre located in the suburb of Carindale, east of Brisbane. The centre became become the sixth-largest shopping centre in Australia on completion of redevelopment in 2012.
Wishart, Queensland
Wishart is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia. It is 14 km south-east of the CBD. The Brisbane Adventist College, Mansfield State High School and Primary Schools are located near to Wishart. Bulimba Creek flows through the suburb. Newnham Road in Wishart was originally part of a stock route from farming areas south of Brisbane to the Cannon Hill saleyards.

Mount Gravatt East, Queensland
Mount Gravatt East is a suburb of Brisbane, Australia, located 8 kilometres southeast of the central business district. Named after Mount Gravatt, a nearby landmark, the suburb was first gazetted in 1967. It is also home to a variety of hills, one of them being Mount Thompson. On land owned by Boral along Pine Mountain Road, an old quarry has filled with water. Despite being fenced off, trespasser have gained access and use the dam as a swimming hole.

Citipointe Church
Citipointe Church (formerly Christian Outreach Centre Mansfield) is a Pentecostal Christian church founded in 1974. It is the founding church of the Christian Outreach Centre movement. The founding campus is located in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, in Australia. The church's senior pastors are Mark and Leigh Ramsey, who have held the position since September 2000.
Westfield Garden City
Westfield Garden City, better known as Garden City, is one of Brisbane's major shopping centres, located in the suburb of Upper Mount Gravatt. The centre is operated by Westfield, and previously operated by AMP Limited before the takeover in 2003. Garden City was originally opened on October 1st, 1971 with a McDonnell & East department store, a Woolworths family centre and a David Jones department store that was relocated into the former Woolworths space.
Mount Petrie
Mount Petrie is a small mountain in the south east of the city of Brisbane. The 170 metre rise sometimes referred to as Petrie Hill, elevates semi-rural residential parts in the suburbs of Mackenzie and Burbank. The mountain was named after the explorer Thomas Petrie. The southern summit of the mountain has an abandoned triangulation station with a collapsed radio tower, while the top of the mountain has a trig tower for taking bearings and measurements.
Chandler Arena
The Chandler Arena (formerly the Sleeman Sports Centre) is an indoor sports venue, located in the suburb of Chandler in Brisbane, Queensland. It has seating capacity for 2,700, and hosts netball, basketball, indoor soccer, badminton and volleyball. The Sleeman Sports Complex, of which the Chandler Arena is a part, was purpose built for the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
